Thanks for the heads-up ThatchamGas, especially as there hasn't been much publicity about this. This closure will cause chaos on the diversion route between the Theale and Newbury M4 junctions on Saturday. I'm changing my travel plans to avoid this area completely.

If the shop is that busy, I'm going no where near it. The "friendly" staff will be on one..... Always found them very friendly and helpful, both in person in the shop and over the phone.

I think the less said about that second goal, the better. I watched a game of Sunday league football last weekend and barely anyone got that much space on the whole pitch, let alone in the oppositions box. You can't blame the ref for that, that was just truly woeful. I don't think anyone is blaming the ref for the second goal... Probably something to do with throwing players forward to try and get an equaliser and only having 10 men on the pitch. But I can't really comment as I wasn't there.

Don't understand why the club can't say if it's all ticket or not in the first sentence of the ticket info articles. Would save a lot of confusion. I can only assume this one is not all ticket.. Completely agree. A clear statement from the club about the number of tickets that will be made available would be really helpful instead of these chinese whispers about facebook info implying a restricted number and sell-out before general availability. 3 of us going and 2 are BRSC members - do I get 2 tickets on Monday and hope that there are some left for general sale or wait and get 3 later and possibly miss out altogether? Shouldn't be having this dilemma when visiting a stadium the size of the Ricoh Arena! UtG.

It's like we just weren't good or clever enough to realise that they were better than us. The Oxford mob have a very high opinion of themselves... I've seen fan comments on their forum saying they always struggle against 'physical' teams and today in the press their players claimed Rovers didn't string any passes together and their manager claimed the goals they conceded were like " pub football". Similar arrogant comments last season when their manager claimed they were the best side in the division despite the fact that Northampton won the title at a canter. One team on Saturday showed more team work and more desire and competed until the very end - that team won the game comfortably and got applauded off after the game. UtG!

There is NO parking at the ground at all for away fans. There is a pub about 1/2 mile away that acts as a car park on match days. Charges a fiver i think then its limited as well I went to a match at Shrewsbury a few years back and did what I saw some locals doing, which was park in the nearby Park'n'Ride car-park for free and walk the short distance to the ground: Meole Brace Park and Ride. Postcode: SY3 9NB (Car-park shuts at 6:30pm I think.)

BBC has got it wrong. I remember an assist from Taylor for Lines' goal in the 2-1 win over Gillingham. From the BBC's own report of the game: Great goal - UtG

Always going to be hard with 10, especially when we players out of position and therefor lost our shape. But oh well, onto 3 home games in a row! But it's not the first time a team has gone down to 10 men early on, plus Leads is hardly Locks or Lines. I feel DC was slow in getting MM on the pitch as by the time we'd got on we were one down. DC also paid the penalty for not having Roberts on the bench, and why not use Gaffers in the second half to try and work their defence more. Unfair criticism of DC... McCrystal came on for Colkett on 21 mins, and Millwall scored their first goal a minute later on 22 mins. But agree about Gaffney.
