They don't care. Lack of personel, lack of resources, lack of kit, lack of after conflict support, but hey ho, off you go to a combat zone and just do your best. Unfortunately the words expendable fodder come to mind and used as political pawns. You have my sympathy, and gratitude for your service. Thanks Baggs……the friendships you make are virtually unbreakable tbh. It’s a real bonus. But coming up next month is an anniversary of something that goes beyond anything I think any of us can ever imagine. From both a militaristic and human point of view. The scale of it is hard if not impossible to comprehend. Truly, truly brave people and we are here today because of them. I will be watching on from afar with a tear in my eye. You'll have to forgive me for not immediately knowing, 6th June, D-Day? Brave doesn't really cover it, in fact I'm not sure anything really covers it. What a sacrifice.

For anyone interested, Grant Shapps is announcing plans for 6 new ships. Point of note: These are still only plans and subject to a review after the GE. It's "up to" 6, meaning a maximum of 4 is most likely based on previous classes It's only what Boris announced 3 years ago. The Navy announced today another 2 frigates are to be retired. Their replacements are so far away we are down to 9. For context, we used to have over 50 into the 1990s. This is a failure of both Labour and the Conservatives. Recruitment and retention still an issue. I honestly weep and despair at how (all) politicians have managed to put this island nation in such a sh** awful position with a service ( and the other services to be honest) I was proud to serve for 22 years and during which time friends and colleagues of mine paid the ultimate sacrifice defending this country of ours across the world. Bless them all….and a plague on the houses of the spineless gutless politicians who have no idea what a sense of duty and comraderie is all about. They don't care. Lack of personel, lack of resources, lack of kit, lack of after conflict support, but hey ho, off you go to a combat zone and just do your best. Unfortunately the words expendable fodder come to mind and used as political pawns. You have my sympathy, and gratitude for your service.

I asked it because I don't know. That ok with you? It's hardly difficult to find the answer if you seriously don't know? Don't bother then, Christ, what's wrong with you?

For me it’s simple, get JCH in early we’re probably be top 10 or close without him or someone like him we are going to have a season of struggle that’s just my opinion UTG Is he out of contract?

I can understand not buying promotion as we're hoping to bring on our Youth, but not wanting us to be a top 10 Team? Don't remember them saying that.

Can you tell me where I mentioned Posh? If your meaning the historical social media posts he made when aged 18 that's hardly putting him in the bracket of troublesome. Otherwise I'm struggling to find evidence of him causing trouble at any club he's played for. Come on Bags if MT came out saying we're signing a striker who had the same goal scoring record that JCH has had over the past 5 years you'd be delighted. You're right, troublesone wasn't the right word, maybe the mess that happened during the attempted re-signing brought that one out. However, I know everyone thinks of him as the ultimate professional goal scoring machine but I also remember, on a few occassions where if things didn't go his way, his work rate and attitude dropped to the level where he may as well not be out there. I just don't think he's right for us anymore.

Old troublesome and thinks he's better than he is and worth more than he is, as does his agent. Wouldn't touch him with a long stick. Can you post a link to any articles which suggest that he's caused any trouble at Posh? Can you tell me where I mentioned Posh?

I see this morning Oxford have agreed to a 250 year long lease where there new ground will be built. It's a shame we the couldn't come to any agreement with council/developers which would allow us to have a modern stadium. It seems easier in a one club city, where the council seems to bend over backwards to supply land etc. I still can't understand why the UWE never went ahead, it's not like the land has ever been put to a far better use. We don't seriously need to go over why the UWE was a no go do we?

Francegas highlights London because it's a visible target even though overall serious crime in the capital is well below other cities like Bradford, Birmingham and Manchester. You can't win with an analysis like this. Obviously major crime is committed in the biggest cities. Even though crime rates are lower under Khan than Johnson and Birmingham with a Tory Mayor exceeded that of London. It's not something that can be correlated with a Labour administration. Not that I'm blaming the mayors. It's inner city life, deprivation and poverty that cause crime, not the mayor. Can you evidence crime rates are lower under Khan than they were under Boris because everything I read indicates they are higher. I highlighted London because I lived and worked there from 1979 to 2007. And scars to prove it?

This new ticketing card has been a public relations disaster. Only for the handful of "normal" fans without a mobile device, all ten of them. I'll introduce you to a few of them first home game.

Good here, in'it? "The problems farmers face are complex. They blame the government for pushing them out of business, pointing to the lack of affordable labour after Brexit; the need to tackle climate change - with agriculture accounting for 10% of the UK's total greenhouse gas emissions - leading to new regulations, and the growing realisation that for most people buying British is a luxury they can't afford." news.sky.com/story/it-keeps-me-awake-at-night-can-british-farming-survive-13132220Didn't most of them vote for it?

I've had my new card for what, 2 Seasons? The one with Filton Avenue written on it. Every time I renewed, with this new card and my previous card, I kept my card and it updated my renewal.
I can understand the £15 cost for new Season Ticket holders because the Club need to have a new card made for them, but why do I need to pick up a £15 charge for someone to reactivate a card I already have?
