You’ve got to feel for the kitman.
It’s going to be a tough ask getting those shirts back onto the bus. They weigh a tonne.

Utterly embarrassing. It’s an almost daily occurrence nowadays. I just can’t be arsed with it all anymore. Imagine a Netflix series on our club. It would be like Fawlty Towers.

We’ve got our rovers back.

I don’t have young kids but understand your frustration regarding cost of football. Why not copy Reading and throw kids toys on to the pitch to highlight the injustice in the new pricing structure. Utg I like that idea. Donate the toys afterwards. Make it a real positive.

Like others, I am reeling from the news with families being ripped off at Rovers with the family saver being binned.
I would love nothing more than a member of the board to come on here and explain the decision, because it seems to be that it’s a way of making money today and not safeguarding the club’s future. After all, the kids at the memorial stadium on a Saturday afternoon ARE the club’s future.
So what can we do about it? We can all complain to each other about the short-sighted decision from those in charge or we can make our feelings known.
I propose we take action on the 24th of Feb at the home game against Carlisle. We cannot let this decision stand. If you, like me, have children who you take to Rovers, you will know the impact that next season’s prices will have on us. Put simply, my kids won’t be coming any more. How many families will we lose to Ashton Gate? For a neutral, it’s a no/brainer. A better quality of football, in a superior stadium for a better price!
Let’s make ourselves heard at the next home game.

Sometimes I think about where we might have been without Wael and without Lee Mansell being ice-cool. Mid table in league one is about as good as it gets for Bristol Rovers in my 30 years of watching BRFC.

Slightly disappointed that there isn’t a mention of ‘Wembley of the South West’.

It’s not the first time we’ve lost 2 games in a week but the manner of the defeats is very worrying. We look so far short of league one quality. If we don’t improve, relegation is a real possibility.

That's the playoff dream over (fully expected us to have 46 points after these last two games. But it's never to be with the gas is it? 10 clear of relegation with teams below having played 2 games less. This is now about survival.

Take it back, get a replacement? Nope, straight on twitter. 2024 How do we know that didn't happen post purchase? I did see a bloke walking behind the stand with a range cooker. Might be unrelated.

This has all the hallmarks of another very dangerous slide… Shipping goals, no organisation and can’t score. Yep, I think you’re right.

We and Matt are learning so much about this squad of players. Many have been given a chance today to impress and just maybe not taken their opportunity. We have some talent not available today and when they are I’m sure we play better. Time for cool heads, for sure, but today has not been entertaining. I certainly don’t like to judge a manager until they’ve have a summer window and a pre-season but this doesn’t look good. I can’t see what we are trying to do. This is the 2nd game in a few days where it looks like we don’t have a plan. Just 11 bodies waiting for something to happen.

As things stand 10 points clear of the drop but portvale and Cheltenham have 2 games in hand on us. We are bang in trouble. I think we need 4 wins to be sure. I don’t know where those are coming from though. We look a very poor side right now.

A dreadful idea.
For me it’s a non-starter for a variety of reasons.
What happens if it’s a keeper? Do they get sin binned too?
What about injuries? Players stopping and muscles going cold will lead to issues.
The standard of officiating in the lower leagues is poor. This leads to frustration from players who take it out on the referee. Sort out the reffing and leave the sin bin rubbish the the egg chasers.
For me, it’s about strengthening what we already have. Cynical fouls are yellow cards. Let’s be consistent. Foul and abusive language is a red card. It seems to me that the blue card is being discussed as a result of poor refereeing.
