We don't have mains Gas. However have a gas tank buried underground. Originally it cost €700-€800 to fill it once it got down to 25%. Last time it was filled (up to a maximum of 85% capacity) it cost us €1500 and dread to think how much it will cost now to have it filled now. (So €1500 is only for 60% tank capacity). The gas usually lasts two years between refills and we really only use it for cooking. We have wood burners in the dining room/kitchen and the living room for heat and we use €700 a year on wood. Thankfully we prefer a cold bedroom and rarely use the radiators as that would drain the gas far quicker. On top of that we get electricity Bill's every two months of around €120. So our annual bills are over €2000. On top of that petrol is hard to find locally below €2.00 a litre and some garages are charging over €2.20 a litre. So please don't think because France is in the EU we have it easy here. I don’t think they’ve got it easy in the EU but Boris & co promised us cheaper fuel bills if we left . He lied. Did he foresee a pandemic and a Russian invasion of Ukraine when he made that statement.

Moved from Bristol to Surrey in 1979 aged 14 and until I passed my driving test and could drive to Bristol I used to watch Leatherhead play. Still look up their results to see how they are doing.

So the US have confirmed the Poland Mig fighter jet deal is "off". Wake up sleepy Joe I think the every day Russian can survive without a McDonald's on their high street. How many more maternity hospitals have to be bombed before some action is taken to help Ukraine.

No fly zone over Ukraine ? It breaks my heart when I see and hear the impassioned pleas from Ukrainians calling for it but also I get the reasons of the ‘west’ not doing it. What do you guys think ? Difficult question to answer Yatton. To me it depends how far the West/Nato are prepared to test Putin. He has already said any country hosting any fighter jets for use in Ukraine he will look upon as a declaration of war. He has also said the implementation of a no fly zone he looks upon as a declaration of war. What I don't understand is he has said he doesn't want Nato on his doorstep yet there are already Nato members with land borders with Russia and Alaska is only 55 odd miles from Russia. To prevent him invading Moldova maybe get them signed up as a Nato member now. Seems if Nato do not want a conflict with Russia Putin appears to have the upper hand. But how long do we sit back and do nothing. Don't know if you have read (probably fake news) reports going round that Putin may have terminal cancer. If true will he really give a toss about taking the world into a nuclear conflict.

So it's wrong for the Tories to accept monies linked to Russia but perfectly OK for Labour. Doesn't matter what the scale is it's still hypocrisy. Then again Labour have a history of that. Wonder if Gordon Brown will return the money he took for a 4hr speech. Oooo corruption within the labour part who would believe it !! www.spectator.co.uk/article/gordon-brown-s-russian-richesOooh look 👀 francegas resorts to whataboutery again 🙄 Nothing to do with Whataboutery what's good for one is surely good for the other. But typical Labour criticise what the tories do but brush under the carpet their same actions and just claim Whataboutery!! Do you believe that the Tories should return funds from Russian linked donations? If your answer is yes do you then believe Labour should follow suit and do the same. Simple question.

I'm pretty sure the Tories are not the only party who have accepted donations from people linked to Russia. Its discrimination to tarnish every Russian as having links to Putin and being corrupt. It's like hearing an irish accent and assuming they are a terrorist and must have links to the IRA. Stick up a list for all the opposition MPs who’ve taken Russian money . It’ll be nothing like the scale of Tory MPs as you well know. Why ? Because the Russians want influence and that comes with power…. A Tory gov . Keep up old chap 🙄 So it's wrong for the Tories to accept monies linked to Russia but perfectly OK for Labour. Doesn't matter what the scale is it's still hypocrisy. It's like hearing an irish accent and assuming they are a terrorist and must have links to the IRA. Based on that, is it then fair to sanction them? How is it fair to sanction Russians for being Russian, but it’s discriminatory to assume that Russians who invested huge sums of money into the Tory party, are associated with Russian politics? Because at a time like this sanctions are taken against the country which unfortunately will have a knock on effect from your road sweeper to brain surgeon. You can't pick and choose. So you believe in guilty by association.

Educate the stupid if you would. Turkish TB2? It's a Turkish made UAV or armed drone. In the 2020 conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia it was used by Azerbaijan to destroy loads of Armenian tanks and other armoured vehicles. I think baggins' post was intended for you to educate yattongas! 😉

Think i read that the Barrow players are going to pay for a supporters coach for this game. So expect a minimum of 50 fans ,so the record will still stand i expect. Up till Saturday they only had 11 adults booked so didn't know if it would still run. Can't find any further update if they reached the minimum of 20 bookings.

Same can be said about any western leader. History days they would all surrender before a shot was fired. Do you agree we should take in Ukrainian refugees ? Yes. In the same way I agree every nation in the EU should also .
