Sorry but can someone confirm who is bloke actually is? I'm pretty sure I know but certainly wouldn't want to pin something like this on someone by mistake! If it's who I think it is, is he not a fairly irregular user of this forum? You can see his face in his Twitter account above

Yes Sinclair will join him and Lines I reckon, hopefully Nicholls and Payne. They will be in top 6 next season.

Really? You haven't said... I will carry on as well , anyone who attended any of these games are all part of the problem , if we all stood united maybe , just maybe we could have the competition set back to itβs original format. But no , people still turn out for this sh** , cowards ! Well said.......if nobody went it would be most certainly changed back to how it was.......simple Problem now is we have a final with 2 "big" clubs and probably a decent crowd so the FA will think it has been a success and will keep the same format for next season.

Genuine question for the boycotters. No judgements or condemnations but why is it a good result that we lost out on a potentially massive payday? Its not a great competition i agree and i certainly dont want B teams in the lower leagues but at the same time a six figure sum of money could be just what we need. Even if you didnt go to wembley wouldnt you still prefer the payday as a potential boost to next seasons budget? It's a good result because I did not want to be sat at home watching the final ( like thousands of other Gasheads ) on TV when my team is playing at Wembley.......simple We have made some decent money getting this far so we don't need a Wembley day out to split even more friends and family. Just getting to this stage of the competition has caused loads of arguments with everyone having different views. Under the old format this would have been a sell-out but tonight less than 5000 Gasheads bothered to turn up, that says it all.

Just 6699 ( 1883 away ) less than 5000 Gasheads for a semi final says it all, no Wembley dilemma now, onwards and upwards. Well done to the thousands who didn't go tonight. Back to the proper games now with no distractions.

Please, Please, Pleases a narrow defeat. Hopefully JCH and TN not fit for this one but 100 per cent fit for Saturday which is far more important. As anyone who has read my posts on this topic, I am against this competition in its current format and what it risks - but I would never want us to lose (except perhaps in a play off place scenario to avoid a particular opponent). I want us to win, with squad players stepping up and fighting for the shirt whilst our key players for the relegation fight are rested, or only played for a short while off the bench. The BIG problem is if we win tonight I will not be able to go to Wembley to watch my beloved team, so I don't want to be in that agonizing position of me stuck at home while some friends and family are there, the thought of that makes me sick, so best that scenario does not happen. If we get to the final then of course I will want us to win but hopefully tonight will be the end of this torture.Anybody who has had the common sense to boycott these games can't possibly go to the final can they? if they do then they are hypocrites. The powers to be have certainly a lot to answer for by ruining this competition for the majority.

and to think only 2000+ Sunderland fans will be there, so much for a boycott Was there a stand closed last time we were in the FL Trophy semi-finals? Under the old format this would have been a sell-out and everyone would have been frothing at the mouths with excitement, especially me. Unfortunately this is now just a damp squid which has split the fan base and brought nothing but arguments between friends.

I was hoping youβd take a nibble πππ and to think only 2000+ Sunderland fans will be there, so much for a boycott Sunderland fans just can't grasp what all this is about they still think they are a Championship side, reality has not sunk in yet. They are still living in cuckoo land. When they get their heads straight they might think differently about this farce of a competition.

Anyone enlighten me on why this part of the ground is closed tomorrow as this is normally open for checkatrade games and where I normally stand ? Because there is not enough interest to open it.......simple

Prey we lose this one, the thought of being at home with Rovers at Wembley is just too much to stomach. Unfortunately a Posh v Sunderland / Gas final will give the FA what they wanted....a good crowd. They will then think this competition has been a great success and the format will be the same again next season. So a narrow defeat on Tuesday please and I will be over the moon, fingers crossed. The sensible one's who have boycotted this farce have to stay strong and keep away however much it hurts. The league is all that matters now. Don't kid yourselves that we will take masses of fans to Wembley ( if we do get there ) we will probably take less than 20,000 as too many people feel too strongly about this and just won't go.

Having boycotted this competition from the start I can hardly go to the final can I? so I am preying we get knocked out next week as the thought of Rovers at Wembley with me sat at home is just too painful to even think about. We made some money but If we win next week I will fill sick as a pig so fingers crossed we get knocked out. Having said that, if we do get to Wembley I will want us to win, just feel gutted I'M not there like the majority boycotting this farce.

Of course not. Don't get me wrong I will be physically sick not going to Wembley ( if we get there ) but having boycotted these games I would be a hypocrite to go to the final and I am not one of those so for me I just don't want us to get there then I will be a very happy chappie......fingers crossed. Having said that if we reach the final I will watch from home and obviously want us to win in front of ( hopefully ) a pathetically small crowd.

No chance of a sell- out 4k at most although Sunderland fans got no sense so probably will sell their allowcation. Hopefully Sunderland v Portsmouth final as majority of Pompey fans are, like us, boycotting this farce.

Fingers crossed we beat them in the league and then crash out on penalties. That is the best and only sensible option.
