A poor miss by him but Taylor was a damn sight better than the totally ineffective Bodin, I can't honestly see what extra he brings to the front line when we've already got Easter & Taylor. Surely with the hoof ball we were playing Bliss was the ideal man to replace Taylor, or even earlier Easter. How anyone can say taylor is better than anyone is beyond me. For me our worst player. my problem with Taylor as he isn't good enough in front of goal. he scored goals last season against teams who were significantly poorer organised and when he didn't have time to think. one on one he is very poor and today that miss was inexcusable. Why he didn't hit with his left foot is beyond me and tbh the problem in this league as you will get less chances and you must take them, if our single chance comes to Taylor then he won't score more often than he will. Also tactics were poor, we didn't have enough drive from the midfield and Mildy's kicking was atrocious. Plus side I am sure we will learn quickly and DC will sort but we look like we need more quality to have a comfortable year.

Nothing is over yet.
We can do no more than win our remaining games.
Worse case we hit playoffs bang in form, best case Barnet drop points.
Missing out on automatic may affect us psychologically but no-one will want us in playoffs and I believe we are best team in the league.

Before the start either dropping points was good news.
Ironically I am happier with Grimsby as they were on an unbelievable roll, Barnet aren't playing that well and have three toughish games at the end, I still think we win the remaining games we go up.

I don't like it when we chop and change formation so often. Personally not sure that the fullbacks, brown especially, are wingbacks so not a fan of 3 - 5 - 2
On the face of it 2 points dropped but others will drop points on the run in. Barnet have won the odd game and lost games recently so this win may be start of recovery or simply the odd win that they have been getting.
Psychologically I think the draw will feel like a win and players will be upbeat for rescuing a point so late whereas a drab nil nil, or us drawing from 2 up would be more worrying from that viewpoint.
We will win our home games, and I honestly think minimum of 4 points away will be enough although we could easily get 7 points.
If we make playoffs we shouldn't fear anyone, Eastleigh were much better than us last week but we won't be that bad again(I hope!)

From the game White started, think it was Halifax, I thought he looked slow until the one time he got the ball with half chance of goal. Then he came alive and looked fairly sharp.
I think issue is always creating chances and whether the hardworking nature of Taylor (I fully accept his scoring record is poor but his general play is important to us ) helps create a number of the chance we are missing!
What I do know if White doesn't play we'll never know!

Great point. Clarke has built a tremendous team spirit, may not be any superstars but they play for each other
