I recall buying tickets via Seetickets last time was a bit of nightmare, I think because there were problems sending the tickets out not ordering them? But surely if Ticketmaster etc can cope with selling Glastonbury/One Direction/FA Cup final tickets etc they can cope with a Conference Play off final? As far as Rovers missing out on some income as it all goes into a big pot to be dished out by the Conference I doubt it makes a lot of difference to our income? Say it's only worth 10k more I'd rather rovers staff work a few more hours for two weeks to have it sat in our account.

As stated before we do have 2weeks to deal with the high volume of ticket request. Our website crashed when we put the FGR tickets on sale and there were queues round the block. Multiply that by 4-5x at least and I think we would be in for a bad time. People wouldn't be spacing it out over those two weeks, there would be an initial surge which we couldn't really deal with, followed by the next two weeks playing catch up. A bit of planning and its very do able.
ST holders and club members each have a day, the general sale would get a tad crazy but a message on the OS or local rag saying enough tickets for every one would help lots. Lets face it we're not going to sell out so I know I wont be rushing down and waiting in a que.

They go through all that when it would just be cheaper to have Tv play back!
Thanks for the info though.

Does it have to happen this way? Cant help but feel like rovers are missing out on some cash by letting another company do it for them? They can barely deal with selling circa 6-7k tickets at a time, let alone the full (I have heard?) 27k+ that is likely for the final. I don't think it would be for the best. We may not need to worry about this anyway. All the threads and discussions about hotels, coaches and tickets are stressing me out! There is a long way to go in this tie yet. As stated before we do have 2weeks to deal with the high volume of ticket request.

Telling you're team mate to feck off several times is seen as rallying the troops? John Ward did it all the time... Amazingly he did it with out upsetting them either.

Wasn't sure what was meant by ABGN?
Was a light hearted joke, I seem to remember him being called sponge head and Arnold was football head in the cartoon.

Must be minted to retire so early.Fair play, club will miss him for sure. Who needs Mourinhoooo we got our physioooo Well retiring or retiring from The Rovers? Maybe he'll be starting up a physio business, but not have to work so hard. Maybe, would seem silly to give up permanent work if you're planning on staying in the profession for a few more years.
Why looks else where for clients when you already have it?
