If there is any chance Man Utd would be willing to loan either James Garner or Dylan Levitt to a club in League One we should try and get them in. Both highly unlikely, but if you don't ask you don't get and you never know. James Garner would be an unbelievable signing for Doncaster on loan if they manage to get him, however I suspect he will end up going to a Championship club. The sort of midfield style player we could do with. mufclatest.com/james-garner-likely-to-head-out-on-loan-next-season-which-will-kickstart-his-career/

Noticed Ian Henderson ex Rochdale has signed 4 Salford City Fair play to him, one last decent payday, although apparently he does keep himself extremely fit so should have a good 2 years at Salford

If BG is looking to dip into the loan market, 6'3 Brighton playmaker Teddy Jenks could be a solid signing. Only 18 years old but has already played for the senior team in the EFL Cup and would be an interesting option to partner Ogogo, Grant or Upson.

He would be a very good signing..... but unlikely perhaps. When he was at Cambridge I always thought he would be a good player for us. UTG!

An ex-Brighton midfeilder I would love to see the club take a look at is Danny Mandroiu of Bohemians. Not sure how much money his club would demand but he's been one of the outstanding young players in the League Of Ireland over the last 12 months.

I mentioned his name to our former first team analyst Enda Barron and he didn't seem very enthused. Personally I rate the player. See here: gaschat.co.uk/post/562076

Another couple of players over there that have been catching the eye are 17-year-old John McGovern at Newry City in their Championship and 19-year-old Paul O'Neill at Glentoran in their Premiership. McGovern has been called up to the Northern Ireland U19s and O'Neill to the U21s this month. O'Neill: Continuing to catch the eye.

I wonder where Herbie Kane will be playing next season. He might be an ex City but a very promising talent. Injured on lona at Hull at the end of the season. Would imagine he'll go on loan to a high end L1 club or low end Champ

Quick one regarding this thread that’s genuinely not meant to annoy anyone, but just interested. Several posters fancying the very young or non-league players mentioned on here seem to also think many of the youngsters or non-league additions we’ve made aren’t good enough for next year without any huge L1 experience... absolutely not trying to wind anyone up or annoy, but interested as to why we’d still mention we’d look at bringing them in if we only want L1 proven players when talking about squad depth on other threads?

Continuing to catch the eye. Oxford seem to be hoovering up all the young talent from the Northern Irish market at the moment. Whyte, Skykes and just recently signed Joel Cooper from Linfeild.

Callum Camps had a decent season and looks to be out of contract at Rochdale as far as I can tell. Signed for Fleetwood Town.

If someone questions a signing from non-league, a young player or any player for that matter, it shouldn't be taken as a blanket statement on signing players from non-league or whatever. It's just a personal opinion or observation on that individual concerned.

Whyte and Sykes were first mentioned on here about a year before they joined Oxford. I also passed their names onto someone at the club. See here: gaschat.co.uk/post/350968

At least I now know that Ayunga, Barrett, and Daly specifically are seen as not good enough. Wasn’t intended to annoy, was a genuine question about where the squad is now vs who we’d bring in to supplement.
