Back at Newham Athletic now and scored 3 goals in 3 games. Only 19-year-old. 28 goals in 29 starts for club in total during career with them. Got to be worth a trial even if nothing comes of it. |

An opposition manager said about Kelly: “I tell you what, he has a foot on his chest. If you ever see his chest control, it’s incredible!
“But no, he’s brilliant at holding up the ball, he’s very strong, he’s physical with centre-backs, he can hold it and link it and get balls into the box.
“He’s very aggressive at attacking things and we’ve also seen some lovely touches, he’s turned defenders this year and had the composure to slot it home.
“So he looks to me that he’s also improving on his game as well.”

I reckon the Lancaster City midfielder Paul Dawson would be worth a closer look on trial in pre-season. Think he's 21. Scored 17 goals from midfield during the 19/20 season. 2 goals in 4 games this season, 20 goals in 55 career league appearances from midfield for Lancaster City. Well worth a closer look. |

He's a good age, decent pace, strong, good in the air, decent hold up play and finishing improving all the time. If that contract information is indeed correct, surely it would only take a small fee to tempt them to accept? Whether he would be interested in a move here is another matter. Youngsters Colm Whelan, 21-year-old, with 32 goals and 14 assists in 40 games for UCD (in the 2nd tier) and 18-year-old Johnny Kenny with 6 goals and 2 assists from 15 starts are both also highly promising. |

Think Garner could be ideal - Sadly i do not believe for one minute we have an anywhere near decent scouting department and we probably are not even aware that Garner is available.
Our Set up is a shambles - with petty squabbles and jealousy getting in the way of progression.
