Got any better suggestions then? Give me 2 mins, I'm sure I could use Google and find a few. Go on then...

Lol, I notice you conveniently missed my post to you... It's been well over 2 minutes. Got any names? In answer to your post...you don't need to see players "live" to know they are worth scouting further or trialling.

If other League One clubs are signing players from the Swedish top flight, then I wouldn't mind us making an enquiry/monitoring the 23-year-old left winger Kevin Kabran. Don't know if he would be interested in a move to League One, but he looks a good player. Looks decent. Could be worth scouting further or bringing in for a trial if possible. cricfree.sc/watch/live/if-brommapojkarna-vs-norrby-if-live-streaming

Read what I wrote again, "worth scouting further with a view to a move", a bit different to "go and sign him." I don't know why that is so difficult to understand. For your info i've seen the majority of players in this thread live or in full 90 minute games. You don't need to have seen a player "live" to know they are worth a closer look. I can remember back in the day Eddie Howe getting Charlie Austin in to Bournemouth for a trial having only read about him in his local paper! I'm not on about watching a player on YouTube, where you only see him every now and then. How many times have you seen the players live in the stadium, so you can get a full 90 mins view on him. I've never seen Neymar live in a stadium. Does that mean I can't have a view on him being a good player then?

They have a good youth academy with ex Manchester City player john guidetti and ex Manchester United player Bojan Djordjic starting their careers there in recent times.

They have a good youth academy with ex Manchester City player john guidetti and ex Manchester United player Bojan Djordjic starting their careers there in recent times. I'm watching them at the moment. The lad Kabran has good pace, a good touch/nice technique, good with both feet, good crosser and can dribble. I'm not saying sign the boy, but certainly worth monitoring, scouting or getting in for a trial if possible. He's got 11 goals in 28 games for them mostly from the left wing. .

I don't know how realistic the signing would be and whether he would be interested in a move to League One, but this lad would be worth scouting and enquiring about. Numerous players from the top two Dutch division's now ply their trade in League One, including Kevin van Veen who was the subject of a £4 million bid back in January. Also worth noting, the top scorer in the 2nd tier last season scored 33 goals and moved for 360k this summer.
Sam Hendriks, 22-year-old, 5ft 11in, striker, Go Ahead Eagles. A product of the Ajax academy, he represented Holland at U18/U19/U20/U21 level and has a total record of 14 goals in 33 appearances, including 4 goals and 2 assists from 5 appearances for second tier side Go Ahead Eagles this season.
Another lad to keep an eye on is:
Achille Vaarnold, 21-year-old, 5ft 11in, winger, Almere City. A former Ajax and AZ Alkmaar youth, he represented Holland at U17 level (1 cap), U18 level (1 cap) and U20 level (7 caps). So far during the 17/18 season he has created 4 assists from 5 appearances. Contracted to 30.06.2018.

F*ck me there's millions of prospects out there. 19 pages worth so far.
I hope this reassures DC as he settles down with his Sunday night antacid and tonic.

So many prospect's out there, but none seemingly good enough to fill the defensive midfielder role or left winger that DC spoke about. Strange.

Norichio Nieveld is a free agent centre back or defensive midfielder. Made 81 appearances in the Dutch top flight and 123 in the 2nd tier during his career. Played 21 times last season, 13 in the top flight, 7 in the reserve league and 1 in the cup for Go Ahead Eagles. 11 of those appearances as a defensive midfielder and 10 as a centre back. A former Holland U19/U20 player.

Another nice finish from Whitely at the weekend. 8 goals in 10 now. Elsewhere, Schmidt scored another goal (8 in 9 league games), Aquino scored another goal (4 in 5 league games), Zimmer got a goal and an assist (2 goals/5 assists in 6 league games) and Puerto helped his side keep yet another clean sheet - 4 in a row now, with only 1 goal conceded in 5 league games. Zimmer, Schmidt, Whitely and Puerto can all start negotiating to leave on a free in just over 3 months time. I have to say all five of those look like proper players from what I've seen and would really improve on what we already have. I watched Saarbrücken live tonight and the lad Schmidt is a class act and took his goal really well. He closed down the defender and when the lad hesitated, Schmidt picked his pocket, drove in on goal and calmly slotted the ball past the keeper from the edge of the box with his left foot. Quality finish from a quality player.

This lad looks a player.
Marcel Platzek, 27-year-old, 6ft 1in, striker, Rot-Weiss Essen. So far during the 17/18 season he has scored 5 goals and created 6 assists from 9 league games in the German 4th tier. In total he has made 259 career appearances, creating 54 assists, scoring 82 goals. Quick, creative, good in the air, good finisher and can score off both feet.

I wonder if anyone attached to Rovers is monitoring the Basingstoke Town youngster Sam Smart? He has impressed so far this season winning several MOTM awards, creating numerous assists and scoring 7 goals in 8 Southern Prem games, mainly playing from the wing. Looks quick and decent with both feet from the little I've seen of him. Obviously a big step up, but possibly worth a look with a view to bringing into the development squad. His form has also led to him being included in an FA Representative squad which will play the Western League to mark the Western League’s 125th anniversary.

Scores all sorts of goals does this attacking midfielder. Leapt like a salmon on Saturday. Another 2 goals today against higher league Grantham. It's 11 goals in 10 games in all competitions for March. Top scorer in FA Cup qualifying with 7 goals.

He previously played 24 times in League One for Swindon and also 4 times in this division for Notts County. Out of contract in the summer.
