The Derry City striker Jamie McGonigle is worth scouting with a view to the summer.

Darragh Burns at St Pats in the League of Ireland an excellent prospect destined for a move across the water in the near future.

18-year-old left footed attacking midfielder Jake Adams looks a player. He scored 16 goals for Bournemouth U18s during 20/21, before leaving the club in the summer. So far this season he has 6 goals from 8 starts for a combination of AFC Totton (current club) and Alresford Town.

20-year-old Liversedge winger Lewis Whitham at it again on the weekend with his 15th and 16th goals of the season.

Genuine question, all these players, are these noticed through stats, online videos or looking at games over time? - guessing its a combination of all three?

With Joey saying recently "we’ve got some development stuff going on there again to try and bridge the pathways back" it could be a good opportunity to trial a few promising lads from non-league with the potential to play higher. Try and find the next Nigel Martyn, Nathan Ellington, Gary Penrice or Paul Randall etc.

I agree we could do with another Left Back, but Luca Hoole has come on leaps and bounds and for me is a brilliant prospect. Bringing a young RB on loan will scupper his progress wouldn't it?
