I'd also add Liam Gibson to the list. Been released by Morcambe and would be good competition for Gordon. Definitely a better option going forward with a good assists record.

Looking locally-ish from the likes of Exeter and Plymouth who would be a great signing for us? Obviously the muff being prompted will off load some decent players to bring in more championship quality players and after looking at their players who will be still under contract which isn’t a lot there’s definitely scope to tempt a few our way

Luke Jephcott 23 year old Plymouth Argyle striker released has been on loan at Swindon Town this season plenty of league One & two experience. Better than Loft

His contract is up but he's played nearly every game this season. They haven't issued their retained list so they might have offered him something.

Better than Loft Not done very well at Swindon but has a good scoring record in League 1 for Plymouth. Definite improvement on Loft and and if he could find his form from a couple of seasons ago could be a 15+ striker again!

Not sure if he's been mentioned on here previously, but one who's caught my eye a couple of times when taking in random non league games when away with work is Zak Brown at Kidderminster.
Generally plays in any of the 3 positions behind a traditional target man at Kiddy, but has good pace and work rate. Believe he was at West Brom previously, reminds me a lot of a raw Aaron Collins and if we look at the improvements our coaching staff have made with AC in the last 18 months I could see him being a good punt.
UPDATE: bothered to use the search function and you mentioned him this time last year when he was at Alvechurch, Pirate.

Almost certainly unrealistic.
Probably heading North.
Sonny Bradley.
Leaving Luton Town for pastures new.
Aiming too high?

Junior Tchamadeu has got a lot of attention for his inclusion in the EFL League Two Team of the Season and EFL League Two Young Player of the Season award and rightly so because he's a fine player, but Samson Tovide the 19-year-old 6ft 2in centre forward at Colchester Utd has really caught my eye over the past year or so too.
I saw him score a decent header, win a penalty and generally cause the Arsenal defence all sorts of problems in a shock 3-0 FA Youth Cup defeat for Arsenal in the 21/22 season and he really stood out that day. This season he has caught the eye in the first team with a couple of good goals and has numerous assists, impressing with his all round CF play.
If he continues developing at the rate he has over the past year or so then he is going to be a player to watch over the next few years and if anyone from our level is looking to sign him, I'd suggest sooner rather than later before his value goes up further! A good prospect.

Lots of L1 interest in Welling United left back Chi Ezennolim. Looks a very promising prospect, at 21.

I wonder if in the future having Glenn Whelan on the staff could have an influence and help encourage players to join us from the League of Ireland? Some good players over there (Jack Byrne not included as I understand he has an MLS move lined up). Brian Maher, 22-year-old, 6ft 2in, GK, Derry City. In total has kept 46 clean sheets and only conceded 75 goals in 99 career appearances. Named in the PFA Ireland First Division Team of the Year for 2020 and the PFA Ireland Premier Division Team of the Year for 2022. Capped by Republic of Ireland from every age group from U16-U21 level and was recently called up to a senior squad training camp.
Sam Curtis, 17-year-old, RB/RWB/CB, St Pats. Won the U19 League back in October 2022 and helped U19's reach the cup final. A regular around the first team setup since he was a 14-year-old. Capped by Republic of Ireland at every level from U15-U21.
Adam Murphy, 18-year-old, CM/CAM, St Pats. Capped by Republic of Ireland from U15-U18 level.
Neil Farrugia, 24-year-old, 6ft 1in, LWB/RWB/LM/LW, Shamrock Rovers. Capped by the Republic of Ireland at U19 and U21 level and was recently called up to a senior squad training camp.
[/div]
Justin Ferizaj, 18-year-old, CM/CDM/CAM, Shamrock Rovers. Capped by Republic of Ireland at every age group from U15-U19 level.
Jack Moylan, 21-year-old, CAM/LW, Shelbourne

Out of interest, has the club ever signed any of the players that has been posted on here ? Not convinced they have, which is a tragedy really as Pirate has without doubt some of the best lower league and overseas knowledge I have ever seen .... Saddest part is some of the youngsters he has quoted end up at Championship level and do very well. Not expecting JB and EJ read the forum or even believe they need any help but what a waste of knowledge - In other news Christy Pym has been told he will never play for Peterborough again having tweeted 'What a Manager Masterclass' after the Sheff Weds disaster... Mansfield are keen but cant afford his wages apparently - he hails from the West Country - wouldn't be surprised is his agent doesn't ring around a few local sides. Not a bad No2 for Belly?

I find that quite disappointing too. I am pretty sure the club do read this place but have absolutely no idea if they even follow up on any of the players mentioned As for the player and his comments, i find it pretty awful when just a very brief tweet or post, such as that, could make his club throw their toys out of the pram. It makes the club sound rigid and seems unnecessary but then, i guess that rules are set in place for not making disagreements public and yet, managers can and do often criticise their own.

Romaeo Hutton, Swindon RB, performed extremely well last season. Tweeting goodbye…. Posh credited with interest in January - be good pick up for us!

Out of interest, has the club ever signed any of the players that has been posted on here ? Been a few players, the likes of Ryan Jones at Weston (I tipped off our scout at the time), Lewis Gibson and Antony Evans mentioned in thread about 5 or 6 years ago when in youths at Everton, Trevor Clarke while at Shamrock Rovers and probably a couple of others I'm forgetting. Lost count of the amount that have moved elsewhere and higher.

Can play right back or left back and wing back on either side. Well schooled at Chelsea and Tottenham, plus a former England youth international. Plenty of potential there as a 22-year-old.
