Before one of the young uns posts it...Andrés Iniesta is leaving Vissel Kobe.
Granted, he's one of the greatest football players to ever grace the game, would command a hefty salary (even at 39 years of age) and has probably never heard of us or beloved Irene.
Still, his name is about as realistic a target as some on this thread and some that will no doubt be suggested as silly season becomes demented season.
Also, think of the sangria and tapas franchises we could offer in the Fan Zone.

Been a few players, the likes of Ryan Jones at Weston (I tipped off our scout at the time), Lewis Gibson and Antony Evans mentioned in thread about 5 or 6 years ago when in youths at Everton, Trevor Clarke while at Shamrock Rovers and probably a couple of others I'm forgetting. Lost count of the amount that have moved elsewhere and higher. That's roughly one player signed for every 1,000 posts on this thread!! You’re being generous, 10,000 minimum! 🙄 |

Charlie Binns - 18 years old Millfield 6th Former - 6ft 6' - Coached by Steve Phillips -family lives in Chard
Overlooked / missed by Rovers ( and the other half) and has signed a two year contract with Ipswich Town....
The amount of talent we ignore is scandalous - until we have some proper network and ability to entice quality youngsters we will always rely on 'old pros' / loanees and those blighted by injury.

This below in quotation was what I posted about Southend United defender Kacper Lopata back in the January window thread. Lopata is now free to leave the club following the National League’s decision to allow Lopata to cancel his contract at Roots Hall due to a ‘serious breach’ which saw the defender having to wait an extra 28 days for his January wages. What an opportunity to sign a very talented defender with big potential for nothing and someone who knows our area very well indeed. Barnsley apparently. |

If Tyreece John-Jules leaves Arsenal and moves to League One level in a permanent move I wouldn’t mind him here. Plenty of ability in the 6ft 22-year-old and a promising future. Had an injury interrupted season, but when he did play he produced interesting data and glimpses of his potential.  |
