At just 15, he debuted for St Patrick's Athletic in May and became the League of Ireland Premier Division's youngest scorer at 15 years and 281 days. Rated together with Evan Ferguson as Republic of Ireland’s best prospects in some years. Previously couldn't move until he’s 18 due to Brexit restrictions, but that might have changed due to recent transfer rule changes. Good read as always Pirate 😀 Is the lad you were banging on about this time last year still scoring for fun in the Essex Senior League, think the view was he was only here on a student visa and couldn't get a work permit, but might be remembering wrong! Richard Kone still banging them in. 38 goals (and countless assists) this season and 100 goals over the past 3 seasons. Undoubted higher level potential and the ceiling for him is very high. I said it before, but some people that work in the game at that level believe he is even better than Dwight Gayle who also played Essex Senior League. Just 19-year-old, about 6ft 3in, quick, powerful, good in the air, holds it up well and scores off both feet. Just sad he is still being prevented from playing higher, although if I was an EFL club I would get lawyers to look into the situation and challenge it because he's that good and worth pursuing. Looking back at the performance of Tristan Crama on Saturday made me think why not cut out the middle man (Brentford) and try and source this type of talent ourselves from the French lower tiers (or elsewhere) now that the transfer rules have been relaxed regarding signing overseas players? Crama only played a few games in the 3rd tier Championnat National before Brentford signed him to their B team, but he isn't the only prospect from the French lower tiers to catch the eye that would be worth scouting, as I pointed out in a previous post with Amilcar Silva, Nicolas Kocik and Hugo Gambor in particular impressing. They aren't the only ones...
Gwilhem Tayot-Savina, 19-year-old, Left Back/Wing Back, AS Nancy. He gained experience playing 31 times for Nancy B team in the 5th tier Championnat National 3 - Groupe I before playing in the first team in the 3rd tier Championnat National where he caught the eye in his 17 appearances during 22/23. Has been involved with the France U20 international setup.
Lamine Cisse, 20-year-old, Winger, AS Nancy. Has initially caught the eye with his performances in Ligue 2, but then performed well in the 22/23 3rd tier Championnat National. Represented France at U16, U19 and U20 level  
Junior Olaitan, 21-year-old, Midfielder, Niort. Played in his Benin homeland for Ayema FC where he scored 10 goals in 28 matches during the 20/21 season before he was eventually transferred to the French club Niort on 31 January 2022, signing a three-year contract. A versatile box-to-box midfielder, he will be playing in the French 3rd tier Championnat National during 23/24 following Niort's relegation, but Olaitan caught the eye individually during 22/23 with 5 goals and 4 assists in 37 appearances. Started the new 23/24 season with an opening day goal and two assists. A Benin international.

18-year-old Tyler Dacres has been catching the eye over the past year or so with 25+ goals in the youths at Basford United and has stepped up well to first-team for the club in pre-season with goals against Barnsley U23 and Chesterfield U23. A lad worth scouting and keeping an eye on 👀 |
