A few more lads with potential that are playing lower down the non-league pyramid that have caught the eye and are worth scouting with a view to our u18s, would be Jokubas Mazionis (Enfield Borough), Sammy Henia-Kamau (Jersey Bulls) and Jaiden Celestine-Charles (Langley). Sammy Henia-Kamau is a versatile and tricky 17-year-old attacking player with decent pace, creativity and eye for goal. Just noticed Sammy Henia-Kamau moved to Swansea City.

We absolutely should be scouting thr German third devision and the Spanish third division (alot of talent to untap) Some cracking talent in the Italian 3rd tiers too with higher level potential, like Manuel Gasparini (Potenza), Alessandro Plizzari (Pescara), Davide Merola (Pescara), Edoardo Vergani (Pescara), Ludovico D'Orazio (SPAL), Lorenzo Dickmann (SPAL) etc etc and many more I could mention!
I'm hoping to watch a German 4th tier Regionalliga Bayern game between Wurzburger Kickers and TSV Aubstadt later. A player caught my eye previously in Marvin Weiss (Aubstadt) and Dardan Karimani (Wurzberger) possibly worth watching too.

I wonder if Southampton would be tempted to loan out their promising striker Dom Ballard?
Kami Doyle, Tyler Dibling and Kazeem Olaigbe decent there too.

I was watching a game recently between a Brazilian Serie D side SER Caxias and Brazilian Serie A club Internacional in the Regional Championship Campeonato Gaúcho and a player from Caxias caught my eye. The 25-year-old 5ft 11in striker Eron caused Internacional all sorts of problems and scored in the Fase Final Semi-Final 2nd Leg as the Serie D side pulled off a shock win. One worth scouting further.

Milán Tóth, 21-year-old, 5ft 11in, Centre Forward, Vasas FC. Caught the eye on loan from former club Szombathelyi Haladás during a season loan spell at Austrian club Sturm Graz during 22/23 playing for their second team in the 2nd tier 2. Liga with a goal every 169 minutes totalling 13 goals (and 4 assists) in 27 appearances. During 21/22 he scored 13 goals and created 6 assists in the Hungarian 2nd tier for Szombathelyi Haladás. Joined current club Vasas FC (average attendance 1,401) in the Hungarian 2nd tier this summer and has 1 goal in 3 games so far. Represented Hungary at U16, U19 and U21 level.

Caught the eye with his potential during 20/21 with a loan spell in Serie C where he scored 13 goals and got 2 assists from 30 starts (2 sub apps).

Gwilhem Tayot-Savina, 19-year-old, Left Back/Wing Back, AS Nancy. He gained experience playing 31 times for Nancy B team in the 5th tier Championnat National 3 - Groupe I before playing in the first team in the 3rd tier Championnat National where he caught the eye in his 17 appearances during 22/23. Has been involved with the France U20 international setup.

Are you still able to pass on/passing on names of players to anyone at the club directly, and getting any feedback? If so, do you think there is a willingness to consider players like this from abroad?

It's more through a third party now, but I do still pass on names I think might be of interest and get the impression there is a willingness to listen to realistic suggestions and doesn't matter whether they are playing at home or abroad.

Antonio Casas, 23-year-old, 6ft, Forward, Córdoba CF. A product of the Real Madrid and Sevilla youth systems, he played for Spain at U19 level. Currently at Spanish 3rd tier club where he has 24 goals and 8 assists in 68 games
Watched Antonio Casas score a nice header tonight vs UD Ibiza. Definitely a player worth a closer look. 👀 The Córdoba goalkeeper Carlos Marin and winger Simo Bouzaidi worth watching too.

I first highlighted him on the thread on Nov 2nd 2021 after he impressed on loan at Wexford from Bohemian, winning Players Player of the Year after scoring 8 goals and creating 9 assists from 17 appearances. This season he has been outstanding and I mentioned him again a couple of times more recently. Lincoln got themselves another good prospect from over there to go with Danny Mandroiu ( gaschat.co.uk/post/562076 ) gaschat.co.uk/post/932524gaschat.co.uk/post/919163

If the new owners are serious about building up an academy, hopefully they'll have a spot on the payroll for you, Pirate.

I was hoping with Glenn Whelan on the staff he might have had one or two contacts that would tip him off about any decent prospects and that might still be the case. Plenty of promising talent over there.
