What is unacceptable is knowing we were going to lose having conceded the first goal. If we don't scrape a 1-0 we don't win. This. 1-0 down away means certain defeat these days. We never ever go at teams. I would be genuinely interested to see how many times in the last 4 years we have conceded first and won a game.

I still don't think sacking DC is the answer. We have been down that road nearly 10 times with no change to our fortunes. Take the players left over from last season and their wages and we probably don't have a good budget for the rest at all. Understandable but people are too reactive. Last week everythings rosey, this week there's talk about the manager again. We have had a very good start. 3 points against Wrexham and it's acceptable for me.

I hate to say it, but who is available?! I just can't see anyone there. Somewhere out there there is a manager who can turn this team around the potential is there. We just need the to find the one who can make us realise our potential. And you expect the powers that be to pick that man out? Their record is hardly great. Unless an obvious candidate becomes available, I wouldn't trust them to replace DC.

This isn't acceptable but I swear some of you look forward to us losing so you can have something to moan about. I'm annoyed as any other fan, but until you get this "we are a big club and we should show up and turn teams over like Braintree" you will keep getting annoyed. We are in this league for a reason, we are no better than the likes of Alfreton etc

We are miles away from even the playoffs! We've narrowly beaten Telford and fluked a win against Halifax.

Just Crawley away in the FA Cup? Could you imagine a team managed by Mad dog or GJ being as weak away from home?

Yeah youre right. I'm just angry. I don't like being turned over by teams like this that's all. Says as much about my own naivety than anything else. I always said Id be comfortable with a mid to upper league finish. I'm just concerned we might not even get that.
sigh.

I don't expect us to turn over anybody but when we put in half hearted displays against part time teams it is unacceptable to put it mildly.

We are in this league for a reason, we are no better than the likes of Alfreton etc Why is that mentality always brought up? Hardly anyone has said anything like that (one or two maybe...). The media - especially the likes of BT - put words into the Rovers' fans mouths. We know we're here on merit, we know we're not entitled to anything. Do the players? I'm not so sure. To turn up at a team who only train a couple of times a week and be completely outplayed is not good enough. It keeps happening to us, whilst other part-time teams like Chester have turned them over.

Even the rose tinted commentators are saying it's bad.

You are deluded if you think we are going to every game. Quite right, we certainly don't sound like we have turned up today.

These part time teams are the ones who want it more against us. They are going to treat games against us like a cup final and that's why in the past many smaller teams have beaten bigger teams.

Also how can the same players perform so well in front of the TV cameras at FGR?
