7 points from the last 9 before this match and definate improved performances is hardly 'awful'. We throw it away by putting in performances like this. Under Ward last season we had great spells at home and put in great performances against some teams. We ended up going down because of days like this.

3 defeats already is not a very good start, team giving up towards the end of the game, can't score enough ...... and all, and all, and all.

Scrap everything I just said. Keith Brookman just said we are woeful. Now that does mean we are bad.

Braintree 2-0 Rovers. Get them in tomorrow at 7am for a full inquest. Higgs and his cronies should be there too.

Perhaps though it is the fact that it has been like this now for four years. I don't expect us to turn over anybody but when we put in half hearted displays against part time teams it is unacceptable to put it mildly. These part time teams are the ones who want it more against us. They are going to treat games against us like a cup final and that's why in the past many smaller teams have beaten bigger teams. But why don't our players want it? Do they like losing to Braintree? Something is massively wrong. I've tried to see the positives in defeat for many years but I've lost any positive thoughts for this club.
"One of the most miserable days ever as a Rovers supporter."
"At no point have Rovers threatened the Braintree goal."
Quotes from RB.
That is not good enough.

You only have to look at the players DC has signed to realize we got no chance of success this season. The board wants something for nothing, its the same old sorry story.

The club is rotten to the core. I don't think for a minute DC got half the players he initially went for.

Somewhere out there there is a manager who can turn this team around the potential is there. We just need the to find the one who can make us realise our potential. And you expect the powers that be to pick that man out? Their record is hardly great. Unless an obvious candidate becomes available, I wouldn't trust them to replace DC. I don't actually think they chose Clarke that was Ward's handywork. Personally I just don't think we are moving forward with this Manager and I just don't see the point in staying with him out of fear.

Have to win on Tuesday now, and it has to be convincing for me to think we'll go anywhere this season. None of this 'dominated for an hour then score the winner' stuff that we had against Halifax.
Wrexham just managed to do something we failed to and hang on to a 1-0 lead at Forest Green today by the way.

Truly awful unbalanced side ,with nothing upfront.

We will be told',We need to pull to-gether and'Get behind the team'.Not sure I want to any more.We simply lurch from one terrible display to another but the mediocrity throughout the club means we are amateur in many ways .To-day I watched an F.A. Vase game at Dudley.Full of commitment, quality and passion.Been like a bereavement losing our league status.Last night I wore my Rovers shirt at a euphoric Ricoh. Can't ever see the good times returning to Rovers. Why doesn't Higgs do something about our continuing demise?

Clarke said not to judge him until he had his own players. Ok you have your players and its crap. Are there any mitigating circumstances?

So, the internal & external reviews stated that we were relegated because of a lack of goals.
We have scored 5 in 7 non-league games. Whilst the reviews have shown our deficiencies, what have the board & manager done about it?
No away win yet, and 8 points from 7 games indicated that nothing has changed.
Will someone let the FD know?!!!

Personally I just don't think we are moving forward with this Manager and I just don't see the point in staying with him out of fear. The board's managerial appointment record has been well documented. There's no point making a change for the sake of it in my opinion. Whilst we're sh*t, I can't see us being involved in any kind of relegation battle. Unless we are, maybe it's time to start giving managers a chance to build their squad, implement attitudes and styles of play. Clarke had a 50% win record at Salisbury or near enough, it can't just be that every manager we appoint is dire (even though there is evidence for some of the others being dire). I think we have to start looking deeper. EDIT: For starters, where is the scouting system? That's how other teams get good players whilst using small budgets.

I'd be surprised, bringing in a 17-year-old striker to go on the bench with two other strikers whilst we have no defenders seems a bit stupid to me - unless of course the change is forced. I'm surprised we didn't sign Higgins to be fair. EDIT: Unless Wilson has replaced McChrystal who is unavailable due to his wife giving birth (McNamara on Twitter) Has she actually gave birth yet or going to? If she hasn't yet then I say to her please hold on. The longer she takes the more games he will miss hopefully. A bit spiteful. Surprised by that comment
