Havent seen anything official but if true very sad. The dunfords saved the club in the 80’s and brought us back to Bristol. If we went up to the championship in the Holloway era he would be remembered even more

Great shame. I know he got some flack, but I really liked the bloke, and he was as good a servant of the club as anyone.

Can we retire the full stop on the forum in his honour ? Ona serious note his family are Bristol Rovers and despite it ending on a sour note this is such an end of an era

Very sad news. Geoff could be divisive in his approach at times but he was a true gashead who always wanted the best for the club. A sad day for Bristol Rovers and thoughts go out to the family who of course kept the club alive in very difficult circumstances. Rest in peace Geoff.

Sad news, a great gashead. I knew he was unwell with a brain tumour but not how bad it had gotten.
RIP Geoff, you will be sadly missed.
