Good home win, strikers score, clean sheet, could've been more, not the prettiest initially but after losing a few on the spin today was never going to be about being expansive. Yet only 4 pages of posts on here!
Lose and it's a 10 page meltdown!

Judt what the doctor ordered. That being said I was very disappointed with MK Dons, thought they would offer a lot more than what they did. One of these teams pass it from the back but get nowhere with it and I said from the start I could see us scoring from a MK Dons mistake at the back.
Winning and keeping a clean sheet was important though and the league table looks a lot better tonight. We need to improve a lot if we want to push much further up the league but the result was all that mattered today.

Won't be remembered as a classic, but a solid, organised win to get us back on track.
Thought Leads played really well today. Covered Lockyer a couple of times in the first half and got forward well.

Both full backs started overlapping from the start of the second half; which was when he kicked into life. Leads and Browner running at defenders, I love to see - we have our Rovers back. We struggle at the starts of the season because DC tinkers with the team; if Darrell is reading this (which he actually might be, hopefully not, that'll be embarrassing) dont tinker further! We have a winning team. |

Did Smith even make a save today?
MK were awful. As were we until we scored from their mistake. That gave us the lift we needed and we were comfortable from then on.

Did Smith even make a save today? The BBC match stats has one shot on target, but I recall a shot from about 25 yards which just dribbled to him along the floor. |
