Not awful, but we were fairly poor. Didn't look like scoring until the mistake. Did you actually watch the match? I think it was the opposite I didn't know how we hadn't scored as there were the first half Sercs/Gaffers efforts then the Locks(?) header which looked a certain goal, Gaffers also missed a good chance then after we scored missed another plus hom and Nichols should have done better when both were clean though together. Perhaps MK are poor but you can only beat who you're playing, for a change lately I don't think we had one poorly performing player. Yes I did watch the match, thanks. Did you? My view is that we were very flat (first time I've been bored at a home game for a long time) and improved massively after the first goal. Had much more energy in our play from that point.

On a lighter note did anyone else notice the ball boy in front of the West Enclosure nip off when the MK no 6 went down winded and return with a pastie and promptly started eating it ...Quality , made me laugh ! Only watching the gas could this happen

I was there if I wasn't how would I know about the chances i mentioned anyway here's the evidence of our 4(?) clear cut chances before we scored: www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/competitions/league-one/11103517/bristol-rovers-2-0-mk-dons

We had a load of good chances first half, their keeper made two very good saves and we had other chances too. Mk had loads of the ball first half but they were boring with it perhaps that’s why you were bored but I thought we were good with the ball for 90 +mins.

I think it might have been Andy collet Think that was when browning nicked it off the keeper and scored, im pretty sure the keeper said he heard a whistle blow or something. Much needed three points today and a well deserved win and clean sheet, thankfully they missed their one chance at the end. UTG It was Browning and there was a whistle from the crowd. Remember it well

Going to be a bit quiet on here tonight. I know, I was just thinking the same thing, isn't it lovely not to be witnessing a melt down on a Saturday night!

Did Smith even make a save today? MK were awful. As were we until we scored from their mistake. That gave us the lift we needed and we were comfortable from then on. Imo we weren't awful at all. We controlled the game and apart from a goal line clearance would have lead at HT. Perhaps MK were awful because we played well? I think it's somewhere between the 2. We weren't awful but we weren't that special either. We did what we had to against a poor MK Dons.

Well played Gas, we had threat in our play today against a team who came for a point.
It looked like it might not happen after the one off the line and the great reaction stop from Lockyer's header,
But thankfully they gifted us a goal and then Rory's goal was the icing on the cake. Thought we could have got more after that but perhaps the players wanted not to concede till the end.

Much needed three points today and a well deserved win and clean sheet, thankfully they missed their one chance at the end. UTG That was at the Mem v Brentford in 1997, as you said the keeper put the ball down having heard a whistle (from the home crowd lol ) and Marcus nicked it off of him and popped it home the Gas. won 2-1 Yup 100% it was Browning. Remember it like it was yesterday.

Game couldn’t have gone much better really - 3 points, clean sheet and Nichols finally off the mark.
It was never going to be a free-flowing performance with confidence low after three losses in a week.

So, after about 60 minutes today, I turned to my wife, and said, 'you know, I think I've finally lost faith in Nichols.' She probably thought you said nipples.

I thought Franchise were a disgrace to football. We were all over them for the first 10 minutes, during which we should have scored. Understandably and after 3 losses without a goal the players didn't seem to believe they could score, and consequently didn't.
Franchise had by this time worked us out, and set about to frustrate, playing keep ball and never threatening our goal. After about 30 mins their keeper started to time waste, and their black player with a reddish tinge in his hair was being a right twat, holding up free kicks etc and the ref let him get away with it.
It was obvious that when they came out for the 2nd half they were playing for a point, and their keeper took periods of history with goal kicks etc. The ref kept hurrying him up, but he needed to book him as he was going to push it as far as he could. That suicide ball was just desserts, and once we scored they showed some urgency. I had to laugh when I saw Smith obviously instructing the ball boy to linger over retrieving the ball for goal kicks etc.
A horrible, manufactured team who deserve to disappear into oblivion, I can't wish them well I'm afraid.
