The family have shut off funds, i think people should be pretty worried and maybe rather than bury their heads in the sand with their rose tinted spectacles on start questioning things before it's too late. No they have not. Please provide evidence of this accusation or retract.
Wasting your time just as CG is wasting ours. He can not provide any evidence whatsoever and quite clearly has his own agenda against our owners. In fact I would go as far as to say he knows about as much about whats going on as the rest of us. |

That's because these people are making vague statements and inferences and then completely failing to offer any evidence or proof. They then resort to insulting people for having their head in the sand. The burden of proof lies with those making the claims. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. None has been forthcoming. Until it does I have no choice but to accept things as they are. |

I have not been to The Mem since the end of last season but have been kept up to date what is happening in the background and it is of great concern to me.
Well, in that case I'd suggest you make a subtle hint about a big problem within our club, and then not give any details. This will maintain the illusion that you are in the know while getting people worried about the future and stirring up vague dissent. Because you know ALL the facts, don't you? Truth is you can't face the truth , our club is heading for very tricky times indeed and I don't give 2 fncks who believes me on here or not , we are on a journey to oblivion, it also seems there is some truth in Ed Ware but not in the way it's purported within this thread. |

Chippenhamgas I am in agreement with a lot of the things you say about the need to be suspicious and to question this board but please keep it real unless you want the "rose tinter keep the faith brigade" to discredit healthy scepticism as the rants of the lunatic fringe! There is plenty of evidence that what they say and what they do are not the same and plenty of evidence of diabolical or no communication but there is no evidence that the family have shut off funds is there? The 4 out of 6 in bold are the truth at present, the first two seem possibles from the latest rumours? The problem seems to be a lot of these rumours are coming from ex Directors and its not clear if they are genuinely concerned or have their own interests at heart, it seems strange they are speaking up now but kept quiet when NH almost sent the club to the wall. Although it remains a mystery to me why the ALQ's ever got involved in Rovers, as I doubt the few million they could make out of Rovers would be worth their effort plus I doubt they'll want to spoil their good family name by asset strippping the club. Plus why compound the issues by buying the land at Almondsbury/building the fence. |
