As I said before, Marcus made his statement, people started questing what had caused him to say it. So I made my guess. If it had been a statement of fact, the question mark would not have been there. In case you don't know it means I've asked a question. You are bare faced lieing now, you said thats what you had heard not that it was a guess The man is a wide up merchant who covets attention, with If you knew what I knew scenarios, I asked him for his last positive post on Rovers and the board, he never answered. He should be banned for causing disaffection on here. |

Gaschat has always wanted to make sure that we were completely free of anything to do with the Club, ironically for the freedom it affords posters like BS5 and Gasincider to be able to post information free of interference.
Don't mistake any of us taking issue with the things posted as anything other than us wanting to get to the truth.
There are faults at Board level in my opinion, but there are also massive holes that can be kicked in most of the rumours, stories and ahem, "guesses" being presented by people who claim to be ITK.
To those that are feeling alienated and saying they feel its a clique of ITK posters, that's not the case. All of the arguments, questions and information needed are outlined in these very pages but it's very hard work to make sense of what's going on. Again I believe this muddying of the waters is deliberate. The minute one negative story gets shut down another pops up. It's incredibly frustrating.
If all the negative stories are true then those who claim to know and even more so, their sources are the ones damaging the Club by not exposing what's going on openly.
You cannot blame people and say they have their heads in the sand just because they don't believe you when you only provide half stories, hints and insinuation then hide when asked for facts.

I assume that Madgas believes that when a carrier pigeon turned up with a message during the First World War, the pigeon was the messenger. It would have been much easier if the true messenger signed each secret message then there would have been no confusion. Hang on though, what if the Germans shot down the pidgeon, and retrieved the message? Oh that's ok, the pidgeon was the messenger. The pigeon was the messenger, as opposed to the sender or recipient. Anyway, the analogy is poor as the recipient would know who the sender was and if written in code then they would be able to encrypt or decipher it. Only the messenger would not understand in case of interception. |

In my opinion a handful of posters have risen to the challenge of reading and challenging the posts without abusing the posters very well. This thread is a good example of that. |

Let’s summarise this and add a few questions to make it easier for Gasincider
You say you asked a question wondering if the players were paid
What was the point in saying that?
Someone replies saying they understand this to be the case BUT with the help of an outside party. Gasincider replies “So I understand”
Clearly that indicates you think you know something, but you back track claiming you merely asked a question, which brings us back to the question “What was the point in saying that?“
You claim people will attack you if you post what you know, but is it any wonder people don’t take you seriously when you don’t even know what you have said in the space of one thread
You may well have genuine concerns and genuinely know some things, but this comes across as deliberately sh** stirring with an agenda.
You claim you just want us to open our eyes, but then say thousands of fans don’t even log into these sites and it is 30 or 40 off us talking to each other. So how are these thousands of people supposed to open their eyes
If your concerns are real perhaps take you crusade to a wider audience and stop bitching that a handful of people are calling you out
Perhaps if the puppet master has some problems and concerns with it all, perhaps he should be seeking a bigger audience and not a miniscule % of the fanbase

To me the solution is simple, we would all just like the football club to speak to us. A monthly statement/ update from Waq would be great, just like the higgsie days, along with say a bi weekly commentary from Hamer, would be perfect.

There were numerous members of staff on this site last night - presumably watching what was being said. If these members of staff are that interested in what a relatively small group of supporters are saying I feel it's not unreasonable to expect some form of response (because this news will spread) to end all the speculation with positive comments about the club. If someone from the club doesn't respond through the media, personally I feel there are issues. MS may well have made an error but his comment was unprompted - it has led to a 'bit of a meltdown' on this site. Additionally if the EP have latched on to the comment and are not prepared to say anything I can assume they have been asked by the club to remain silent at the moment. IMO this is news item which is worth pursuing - particularly compared to some of the other outdated stuff they are prepared to print.'
