I thought you would conveniently chose to ignore the LABOUR years under those two liabilities. Throw the next incompetent into the fore, David Cameron, and the demise was inevitable. What are you rumbling on about the Thatcher years for? It was under Blair and Brown that this country was flooded to the brink a nd still is with Europe’s dregs. To add to the ridicule, Teresa May just hands over another £400 million to the French to help keep the hordes at bay still. The Country is irreparable, no matter who gains power in the next election. 20 years of incompetent Prime ministers have seen to that. Presumably you're talking about the 20 or so Eastern European beggars you see on the streets, and not the hundreds of thousands of doctors, nurses, plumbers, bar staff, waitresses, fruit pickers and shop owners who work hard and claim no benefits. A very strange answer to what was not even insinuated or said.

Sorry silly me i though the "lawless" reference was about unemployment on a massive scale introduced by thatcher and turning communities into hopeless wastelands while the good old boys of finance made millions. I wasnt conveniently ignoring the blair years which on paper were labours most successful its just that i believe in socialism and a proper labour party not the vile blair governments,he was just thatcher with a smile. "Europe"s dregs" I just see people from poland, hungary, slovakia etc that want to work,my issue with immigration is big companies exploiting the labour to drive terms of employment and wages down with all the help they need from this tory government. Another typical, dinosauric reply from a bitter left wing voter living in another decade from the past. Those days are long gone, just look around and you will see people on benefits with all the mod cons only hard work and plenty of overtime would once get you. Just look at your union leader and see what he milks from the ‘Tory’ system whilst portraying to represent the ‘working class’.

Post war meaning the Blair and Brown governments which brought this country to its knees and were the EU whipping boys! You actually want to talk about these governments or do they not count, primarily for what they did and what a lawless shithole infestation this country has become due to their time in government? No i was thinking of the atlee government and wilsons longer term in office. The blair government was simply a tory one with a labour badge on it. Ref lawless, its thatcher that closed down all our industry and created mass unemployment and generations that have never worked. Labour can't really claim that much in the way of reform it stems back to the liberal party in 1900, that's when free school meals were introduced, health care for the poorer workers at a cost of a few pennies a week , a lot of other stuff was also introduced, so in reality all atlee did was to expand on those policies and add a few more hardly a labour set of never before seen policies , Wilson yep ok he created the chaos that followed and Callahan took the blame , see most labour supporters hold wilson as the saviour, but when the pot was running dry unions had been given too much power , he ran away with his tail between his legs and left Callahan to take the blame ,hmmm let me think copied by bLair the war criminal. Again it wasn't Thatcher who destroyed industry it was the overpowered unions you can say all you want how brilliant and fair unions are but neglect to look at the control freak nature of unions, closed shops etc, Have another look at your super hero scargill whilst miners were starving he never lost a pound ,had meals with the miners thereby leaving them with less food whilst he lined his own pocket , have a good search online as more info becomes availabe as to how corrupt he was how he took power a simple fact is this labour shut down more coal mines than any other government ,closed a lot of industries as well with continued support for overpowered little twerps masquerading as shop stewards , after all it wasn't the unions at ford in dagenham who reneged on a deal to keep people in work by refusing the deal and striking when others had accepted it Again theres hardly if any instances from the 80's on where any labour government have reversed tory policies, there are plenty of instances of labour shouting down the tories but doing nothing when they came back in power ,look at the amount of cash in the country before and after a labour government, corbyn is both a hero and the antichst to non labour voters a hero as he has almost destroyed the labour party ,but if him and his snivelling little dodgy ex and sidekick ever get into power then any one who lived through the 80's will be so much worse off ,it will be interesting to see how the i want it now generation will cope with nothing

Nothing to do with scargill or clean air idiots demanding smoke free areas, so where do you think the coal industry would be now, oh yes where it is presently. europes dregs as you call them are here as most earn more than they do at home, send money back home ,so do not contribute fully to our economy and in general get a pretty easy go of it here as opposed to brits trying to live abroad, how can you blame big companies for exploiting labour laws, the majority of the offenders are their own country men, it is you and i who are driving wages down, people want a bargain so will drive prices down, so companies have to either pay less which cant be done ,freeze wages until your on lower pay, or hire people at lower rates, i'm going to take a wild stab at this but i rather suspect in your chosen employment field your wages were higher than some but lower than others so you were also guilty of exploiting others, how many pay cuts did you volunteer to take to keep the lower paid at your place of employment to allow those to receive more wages, do you believe that everyone in a company deserve the same amount of pay. There isn't a cure but what will happen is the cycle of politics will continue unabated, tories struggle to balance the books left by labour, labour get in an bankrupt the country and it repeats, i know you won't agree but the immigration door needs to be not only shut but welded shut as well we should be more selective as countries like Canada and Australia are and only allow those with good jobs in as long as the position cant be filled by someone already here. Foreign aid should be spent here, building houses etc.

Care to show me what is not true in my post above ,as all 3 paragraph are true ,if it's not then please show me what is wrong with my post. every point i stated is true. i have asked you in the past to show me where i'm wrong but i think you went silent, one thing that gets my goat is how unwilling people are too discuss these things openly,as noted by another poster you seem to only focus on the old labour and generally go silent when asked too many questions or your somewhat closed beliefs. I rather suspect you are like many who actually believe labour achieved something in this country other than riding the success of other parties, as to atlee ,i suggest you look at the liberal government in the early 1900's to see where many social reforms began

I did but your answer did not relate to that. I don't understand your response. Tell me why and I can explain what I meant. I was not referring to the Labour force from the EU who work hard and deserve a better quality of life, I was referring to the 1 million plus legal/ illegal immigrants which came in through the front and back doors, which Labour admitted it is much higher, and those who come over here specifically for the benefits and free accommodation. I know what you meant/getting at so no need to explain.

first off ,i'm not an extremist, i just look at both sides, you say i'm bitter and twisted kin hell i laughed so hard that a bit of sick came out of my snout, i can't understand why you think it's sad to be open minded, and believe in peoples choice to choose what they supported in the 70's 80's , i find it quite amusing the amount of hypocrisy in your beliefs, you clearly love the unions you say you believe in freedom of employment, but also keep suspiciously quiet on closed shops which hindered employment for years ,you blame the tories relentlessly for closing the pits but overlook the fact that with alternative cheaper fuels , the introduction of smoke free zones, that the coal industry was dead on its feet , you also forget that unlike the previous labour government the tories would not be held to ransom, the unions were so used to getting their own way that leaders like scargil etc, thought they could take on the little lady and win which did not end well for anyone. You also conveniently remain silent when the subject of what has labour done to reverse tory policies is aired or comes up in threads ,you also seem to forget the state of the country when wilson did a runner As for the youth of today waking up they just want free uni places so they can skive for another 4 years, and come out with in many cases a piece of paper not worth w**k, free uni should be for people who will benefit the country in general ,like doctors, nurses etc, do you really believe the young would vote for corbyn if he wasn't buying the sheeple with promises of free stuff. as for my buddy i don't know who he/she is in all probability i have never met them, however i would chat to anyone even you and would be willing to discuss politics or religion and would even buy you a pint , (or a pasty) Another thing i come across regularly are so called labour supporters who continually spout on about equality, helping the lower paid , whilst in reality are feathering their own nest, how many would give their last pound to someone who needed it more.

I hate the Tories very much.
Corbyn is an unelectable nutter.
No party should get more than 8 years max, it's not healthy for the balance of this countrys dialectic.
Some left wing/socialist ideals are very noble and worthy, but right wing commercial reality should not be ignored.
Right now having a lame duck Tory in charge isn't so bad, though shes not someone I'd vote for. Having Corbyn in charge would be a disaster.
None of them speak for me, they are all self serving hypocrites.

The thing is though surely that would go against everything that's right and proper i can see what your getting at but it would be wrong on so many levels and a pish take to voters. I think i'm correct in saying not one socialist government has ever worked anywhere in the world, (some will predictably name a few Scandinavian countries, but behind the smokescreen those countries are bankrupt). The only socialism that seems to work is when its mixed with a bit of capitalism even then is a bit flaky. the ideal is in the middle, but theres no=one who can fill that gap there will never be one in this country, lets face it politics in this country has always been a two legged pony. I'm surprised a lot of older labour supporters haven't switch to the greens as their manifest from a few years back would have had die hard labour supporters creaming their pants. Lib/Dems they fell out of favour with me years ago when one of their policies was to try and ban angling, the biggest precipitation sports in this country. No party speaks to me either i tend to vote on the most stable option at that time
