Yep, we’ve seen it before, and I’m sure DC thinks it’s harder to get a gutsy performance out of overpaid journeymen than our “honest bunch”. Whilst we could do with a bit more experience, we don’t need what Brown had assembled. Connections can get people though the door but it’s what you do once they are in that matters more I was shocked how weak Turner was against Ellis or maybe Ellis was just too strong !? When i went to chelsea last season ellis dominated and bullied gary cahill to such good effect you could almost feel the england defenders relief when dc subed ellis. He didnt quite kick on from that although he was decent all that season imo but he is now showing his strength and ability for all to see. People on here say "get a big target man" but we already have one at the club and hes also mobile and very quick. Transfer value if he was on a 3 year deal already? £1,000,000 laugh if you like but thats my opinion. |

Ellis has been playing consistently well and unfortunately I think we will get one or two sniffing around him in January? |

Been underrated for a while. Been inconsistent not shown enough fight for it or belief in himself for a while more like it. This season he’s given it 100% and he’s reaping the rewards. I’ve always said I’m 50/50 about Ellis, clearly had the ability but did he have the attitude for it, this season he’s had both and he’s been fantastic. |

Been underrated for a while. Been inconsistent not shown enough fight for it or belief in himself for a while more like it. This season he’s given it 100% and he’s reaping the rewards. I’ve always said I’m 50/50 about Ellis, clearly had the ability but did he have the attitude for it, this season he’s had both and he’s been fantastic. Bit of both for me. He seems to have matured in that he's now prepared to work hard every game, for the whole game, AND he's working out how to make the most of the hard work. How to hold off a defender, get in the right position early etc is learned, but you need to work hard to achieve it, and vice versa. Couple of great hold-offs in the highlights.
Both aspects seem to be coming together nicely.

A fair few in Kingswood are backtracking like feck on Harrison. The hatred gor him was palpable. All of a sudden tweets and explanations are appearing. Fecking own what you said about EH. I hate it when people try to rationalise there hard set opinions and how EH shoukd go to a conference team etc. |

But I agree, saying that our own players should bugger off to Weston or whatever is out of order. |
