Most enjoyable game, the best team performance for some time with some quality moves, when Ellis had his header saved, one of many very good saves, i thought it was a great move and would have been some goal. Come on you blues onwards and upwards. UTG Was that the move where Lockyer won the ball on the edge of our area, nutmeged their forward , skipped past another challenge , sprinted past another , beat another down the line and crossed it in for him ? That did really happen didn’t it ? Or did I dream it ? UTG Locks was Messi for a minute, but to be honest i'm struggling to remember the build up now just recall thinking when the keeper saved it what a team goal that would have been. Looking forward to the highlights as we had some quality play second half.

Fantastic performance. Have to feel sorry for the Southend goalkeeper whose goals conceded far exceeds the game he played today, and that’s testament to the game we played. We simply did not look like a side who have just come out of a run representing relegation form. I’m excited where we could be going into 2018 despite the big gulf in points as of today. It’s quite right up there though so if we could close the gap then things could look very rosy. Liam sercombe is looking a fantastic signing and anyone who challenges DCs recruitment ability need look no further. Ellis Harrison. Most of us would have chopped him even as recent as three months ago but he is now just as important to our team as billy Bodin. Come on. Sercombe and snake are two who have been good and served us well but it’s syretching it to say look no further at his recruitment. Believe me, I am using kind words as I don’t want to kill a 3-0win buzz Bodin? Partington? Want me to keep going? Keeping faith in Ellis? Is there a function for ignoring certain posters?

First time I have seen Parts in midfield and I thought he made a massive difference. That was a very well balanced midfield today. He broke up play nice and made several good passes. I feel like we are definitely getting there.

Yes, go to profile, your own then look there and you will find the Block facility. As for keeping faith in Ellis, I always did but DC loaned him out. Without going into lists, look at players in who hardly played plus people like wall, goldberg and paying for burn & Blisset. DC says that he is still learning & accepts his own mistakes but you seem to think he’s signed incredibly well when he acknowledges his own shortcomings on that front. That’s it. No more today on this. Don’t know why it would offend you

Superb win.
A draw or win (obviously) on the road next week would be lovely.

I feel like we are definitely getting there. Probably too early to say this after just 3 games but you do wonder why Eastleigh had down as a defender as he looks a far better player in midfield, today he broke up most of Suffends attacks and also hit some good forward passes plus he seemed to bring out the best in Sincs who probably had his best game this season, as did Locks & Sweeney behind those two. Not sure what we need now in January still a DCM or an OCM to play alongside Parts! I just hope we can keep the run going at bodgy team Gillingham next week.

Hopefully we go two-nil up half way thru 2nd half an the stadium goes into total darkness, a gong sounds, a streak of lightening strikes followed by a huge snowstorm and as the air clears Mark Zuckerberg appears in th centre circle with his 1883 Blue an White Quartered Versace Pirate suit on singing 'Goodnight Irene, Goodnight Irene i'll pay for yer chuffkin Dreams" A gong i can handle, if it’s some Knut with a drum i’m gone rapido.

Poof is a term for someone who is effeminate, soft or ladylike, not necessarily homosexual. Beat me to it , you poof ! For Christ sake don't mention you’re having faggots for Dinner.

Let's not get carried away lol Do we still need to sack DC? Even Fulton United could beat Southend at the moment , but ok I am coming around let's see how we stand at the end of Jan I can't hep it , I have always been the same since he took over not just lately I just cannot warm to him but that's me and I don't know why so I will leave the jury out for the time being

Here here, well played the manager too! Let's not get carried away lol What you'll have missed today was how animated Darrell was in his technical area. He was urging players to chase, close and was obviously pleased as punch when the midfield and forward players tracked back to make a block. For those involved in football at any level, you would have to acknowledge how Darrell learns from mistakes and adjusts. He's improved us every season and it is no surprise to me how the second half of the season has always been better than the first under DC.

What we need in jan is to keep billy and add a decent left winger, we have plenty of resources centrally CL,LS,OC, SS, get someone to allow these guys to play in their natural central position and we will continue to improve.

Brilliant to wake up to another 3 points. Well done DC and the lads, feels like we've really turned a corner after that awful run. Happy days!

It was reported that he could play in defence or midfield when we signed him. The only mystery is why it took so long for him to get a chance to play in midfield for us. www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/football/nonleague/15021659.Eastleigh_captain_Joe_Partington_joins_Bristol_Rovers_for_record_fee/
