That was one of our best performances I have seen in a while. We dominated the match from start to finish.

Fantastic performance today best home performance by a mile this season. Still a lot of football to be played yet but I’ve been saying all season we’ve got more quality this season than last , what we’ve lacked , particularly in our bad run was leadership but Partington has proven that leader in the last three games. UTG.

I'm going for a comfortable win for the Gas today I hope their dippy manager can give us a half time rendering of "all i want for xmas is 2 front teeth" after we smash his team in the first half..... i get my coat..... and see you all there ! Good call. I am starting to think that when I can’t go, we win. Maybe I shoukd stay away more often lol. I neber even looked on TV or social media until it was over. 7 points from relegation and 5 from play off spot. As long as we can produce on the pitch then 90% of the uber negativity will go away. I was just watching Burtons story and it seems like 5 minutes ago we beat them by 7-1.

So rumours of our demise were greatly exagerated with players and manager alike affected by all the off field sh**.
Great win Gas

That's more like it. We can make the play offs Until the next time we lose a game, and then we'll be going down. Great performance today.

Did not go but sounded a good win and what's better is a clean sheet well played the team

Hard to pick A MOTM from that. Only person you couldn't give it to was Smith as he had sod all to do all afternoon. Great performance by everyone involved.

Great performance today and if not for their keeper we could/should have scored five or six easily. Southend had a good period last twenty mins of the first half but that aside we totally dominated.
Midfield looked so much stronger without linsey & ollie clark,DC has to keep this line up now.

I see the anti homophobia message from last weekend has landed well then Poof is a term for someone who is effeminate, soft or ladylike, not necessarily homosexual. I think the use of the word gay has suffered much more. Its certainly a gay day here, after this result

Great win Gas Well the manager has obviously been affected in order to complain so bitterly to the press before the Rotherham game! However he is also paid to do a job and continues to do that job- luckily for us. For how long for who knows? January will be very interesting indeed. I'm just glad to see that we may have found the correct personnel and formation to take the club back up the league, a much needed boost amidst all the flannel we have been fed off the pitch over the last couple of weeks.

A mixture of high energy and discipline today and a perfect 2nd half especially. Hard to single individuals in such a good team performance but partington had his best game for the club imo.

Great game lads , just got back. Partington is making a huge difference as a dm, it's allowing sercs and bb to play their attacking game whilst sincs just harasses everyone! Harrison and gaffers were quality again , to be fair it was a very good team performance. This has to be the team going forward. Can't see lines or Clarke getting a sniff if this team plays like this.

No coincidence that we've started winning again since Billy's come back from injury is it? Best player in the division IMO Lets hope he signs that deal Keep that dream. It was in the evil post that he’s had a contract offer for 12 months prior. Maybe it’s just an improved offer. The only way I see us keeping him is if potential buyers feel his past injuries would be a problem. I’m resigned to him & Harriosn going & possibly Lockyer, on the back of the Wales FA wanting him playing higher up the league’s.

Fantastic performance. Have to feel sorry for the Southend goalkeeper whose goals conceded far exceeds the game he played today, and that’s testament to the game we played.
We simply did not look like a side who have just come out of a run representing relegation form. I’m excited where we could be going into 2018 despite the big gulf in points as of today. It’s quite right up there though so if we could close the gap then things could look very rosy.
Liam sercombe is looking a fantastic signing and anyone who challenges DCs recruitment ability need look no further.
Ellis Harrison. Most of us would have chopped him even as recent as three months ago but he is now just as important to our team as billy Bodin.

First time I’ve properly noticed the pitch cutting up badly. I probably woukd still thinks it’s ok if no one mentioned it
