If the defensive shape was "awful" as you say, why did we keep a clean sheet against Southend? I agree that things need to change away from home but scrapping a formation that has served us well because of a knee jerk reaction to a heavy defeat, may not be the best way to go about things. Because home and away games are completely different things. You wont find many clubs with better away records than home records across the 92.

Because home and away games are completely different things. You wont find many clubs with better away records than home records across the 92.
Gillingham? Bradford too in this league....not checked the others but would bet its most likely 20 clubs with better home records. Rovers did their charity work for the stats department today in helping Gilligham get closer to that better home record !

Nothing to do with the shape etc etc as alluded to by some on here, more to do with a team carrying far to many powder puff players.
Only one solution, at least four new faces in January and all on the pitch from when they sign and not bench warming.
Whether some like it or not, Tbone is entitled to his opinion ref our Manager and I would think he is not the only Gashead of that opinion after yet another unacceptable away performance.
About time the club and Manager who are always quick to praise our away support in spite of a woeful display, put their money where there mouths are and cough up at least a ticket refund for the travelling faithful.
