Although you would say that conceding 4 would show the defensive shape is awful and that not scoring would show playing so many attackers was pointless If the defensive shape was "awful" as you say, why did we keep a clean sheet against Southend? I agree that things need to change away from home but scrapping a formation that has served us well because of a knee jerk reaction to a heavy defeat, may not be the best way to go about things. I think some of this is because the emphasis is always on the home side to attack more and when teams do they expose the defennsive frailties in our squad. Playing 3 up front away from home asks for trouble in my view and I have a lot of respect for our fellow Gasheads who go to these games. |

What happened to that Bamber guy that used to go on about the "truth" when we were in the Conference? I think it was that Matty Taylor wasn't good enough for the conference and DC was out of his depth. Oh and we drew too any games as well. |

My first away game of the season & I salute Gasheads who've regularly attended the other away matches if this is what they've had to put up with. Partington,Sinclair and Sercombe offered little resistance in mf and Gillingham seemed to run through them at will. Not sure which game Brown was at today but seemed to be missing for most of it with Gillingham having oceans of space down that side. Can we please have an experienced Centre Half who knows what he's doing and can organise the back 4.

All right we are all watered off and angry today and are probable spouting off more than we should
I am only messaging how I feel about our club , the team and the manager
Although I do get offended by people suggesting that bond and I go south of the river we are both die hard gas and hate the position we are in and the way we are getting slaughtered every week away from home m yes last 2 home games gave some relief but there is still an underlying problem that needs addressing.

City are winning = don't care City are losing = we care So predictable.. Truth is we may think we are rivals but, footballwise, infrastructure and all other departments APART from fan loyalty, they are so far ahead of us that they are right in having a laugh at our expense and especially when you read we are coming for you lol. They have an owner who puts his money where his mouth is, kept his nerve in the manager and is now reaping the benefits. Frim the report today, they got lucky but we had two very lucky promotions so we know a bit about that. The only rivalry is from the past in reality. I may not like it but that’s the absolute truth. Still a lot of football to be played though but I feel we are on the cusp of the 70’s when they got to the old 1st division and we were 3rd tier. Faithful & true, we shall see |
