All right we are all watered off and angry today and are probable spouting off more than we should I am only messaging how I feel about our club , the team and the manager Although I do get offended by people suggesting that bond and I go south of the river we are both die hard gas and hate the position we are in and the way we are getting slaughtered every week away from home m yes last 2 home games gave some relief but there is still an underlying problem that needs addressing. Apologies to anyone I have offended Bond? Bond. James Bond (tbone) is back damm predictive text lol

Staying in Kent thought would be good idea to watch Rovers away, with grandsons and son in law,WRONG!up until the first goal we were well in the game, though it was worrying how easily Gills played through us, then the pen and we just fell to pieces.2nd goal started with a ball from one side to to other with the receiving player having plenty of time to control ,advance, and plan the next phase. The 3erd goal came from a pass from inside there own half ,hoofed to the 6 yard box and there player had time to control and pick his spot. The 4th ,although brilliantly taken, same thing ,corner to unmarked scorer who volleyed unstoppable shot past Smith. This was the theme throughout, there players receiving balls in acres and acres of space and free to run at the ragged rovers defense.Cant think of any thing positive to say, only it could have been a lot worse .scoreline.Smith pulled off a few great saves and was unlucky with pen, which he brilliantly saved, only to be unlucky with rebound, apart from that all we can do is pick ourselves up,dust ourselves down and start all over again, come on ROVERS !

Sounds like a repeat of the Wombles game at the Mem the other week. I stood there in disbelief at how easy a team that low down the table (admittedly not that many points off us) could slice through us so easily. Could've been 8 that day

And they have missed a pen, my son has just left the ground. Says lack of leadership, effort and fight. We need a whole new team from the top down including Clarke. Relegation is a defo when Gills have won just once at home!! How crap are we!! Luckily we don’t have a manager who thinks that way BUT he could be off soon enough. I know I will get stick for this but my delving suggests 4 persons leaving in January. One is a no nrainer, for me anyway, another is a fair guess but the other 2 are anyone’s guess as I can’t get anything else other than that. January will be a pivotal point and will be the making or breaking of this season. Steve Hamer says money is available to *freshen up the team* but is even he being told the entire truth as he sounded miffed himself. There is something deeply wrong when we cannot replicate even the enthusiasm when away from home. Maybe why people such as I, tend to live on past memories.

Anyone remember when we were one game away from going a year unbeaten away?
Darrell has been sucked in to the pathetic record that is our away form. It's been a disgrace the whole time I've watched Rovers apart from that year. Fair play to those who go regularly as you are quite frankly taken the water out of by the 11 on the pitch.

City are winning = don't care City are losing = we care So predictable.. Truth is we may think we are rivals but, footballwise, infrastructure and all other departments APART from fan loyalty, they are so far ahead of us that they are right in having a laugh at our expense and especially when you read we are coming for you lol. They have an owner who puts his money where his mouth is, kept his nerve in the manager and is now reaping the benefits. Frim the report today, they got lucky but we had two very lucky promotions so we know a bit about that. The only rivalry is from the past in reality. I may not like it but that’s the absolute truth. Still a lot of football to be played though but I feel we are on the cusp of the 70’s when they got to the old 1st division and we were 3rd tier. Faithful & true, we shall see We were second tier when they went up, we went down with them to the third tier and they went down again to fourth

Well, time to get on the heavy stuff. If a loss of a game of football is enough to get you on the lash then I dread to think what a real tragedy woukd do. Pass the needles when you’re done lol

We had lost to Accrington twice and they did everything but score that day and we did so in extra time while still awaiting their result. We went up in 3rd place. If that’s not the rub of the green then I don’t know what is. Fact is we’ve had a core of non league players overachieve and done well to get us where we are. We cannot expect that to continue, not as I see it anyway. Remind me how our first 10non League results went. 95 matches lucky? No but did well to get an players in gaffers at the right time and Ellis Harrison probably scoring his most important and influential goal in the quarters. Even Balanta played his part. We lost one player to Grimsby who I thought was better and more important to us and I thought Trotman played a decent part. It was luck & chemistry plus a determined manager who gave his all. To say we hammered promotion woukd be both a lie and disengenuous.

Yes of course. Did we go up because of luck? No.

Looking at it the other way we by far one of the best two sides in the conference and would have won the league if Dover hadn't been 'lucky' to have their winner allowed to stand in the penultimate game. From league two there were 3 automatic spots and we finished in one of them over a nine month/46 game season - things may have went our way on the final day but very harsh to put our success that season down to luck rather than months of hard work.

To say we hammered promotion woukd be both a lie and disengenuous. Small margins in the Grimsby & Daggers games, but promotion is gained over a season. Using those to games as examples then we were unlucky to get relegated to the Conf based on the Mansfield game? No we were relegated due to the results over the season.

If we'd drawn with Mansfield it would have been the result in one game which kept us up though. Regardless what's that got to do with us being so poor away from home.
