Why is there such a MASSIVE difference between home and away performances (Blackburn aside)?
It's still a big rectangle of grass. Do the same thing as you do at home FFS.

Could we just scratch for our away games, keep ourselves fresh for home matches - awarding the opposition a 3-0 win for each game would also be better for our goal difference.

Our club is mediocre both on and off the field.Just hope we stay up now.Suspect no mega bucks will be spent in Jan and suspect there will be no stadium news either.Sad times after the euphoria of last Sat. 3 of the 4 teams in the bottom 4 have a game in hand over us.

A case of again forgetting Rovers are RUBBISH away from home and playing 3 strikers...you have to earn that right or be desperate clawing a game back. POOR management im afraid. Should have played. Smith Brown Lockyer Sweeney Leadbitter Partington Sercombe Clarke Sinclair Bodin Harrison A couple of good home games and they think they can be cavalier away from home. The players are not good enough at this level to do that. Playing 4 at the back with a CDM isn't overly attacking. Most people were calling for an unchanged lineup before the game, its the weak mentality of players away from home more than anything, we know that the set of players that DC picked are good enough as evidenced by the two last home games. |

It's simple our defence is very poor and away from home it is exposed ! . Of course at home it is protected by players like Bodin Harrison and Sercombe who can attack more feeely . We must also remember D.C have been given NO money for our defence and comes on free transfers and loans. I mean
quality like Tilson Elliott Thomson wasn't cheap were they ?.

Getting d1cked away from home regularly cannot be good for anyone - the Players, the backroom staff, the fans.
For goodness sake keep it tight away from home - 442, or 451 - changing it late in the game if the situation warrants it.
Going gung ho, losing by three, four or more must affect confidence and of course Goal difference which could be crucial come May.

And they have missed a pen, my son has just left the ground. Says lack of leadership, effort and fight. We need a whole new team from the top down including Clarke. Relegation is a defo when Gills have won just once at home!! How crap are we!!
