Poundland BASICS would have been better than that. Two dreadful teams. Merry fricking Christmas

Sad days for BRFC.We are in decline both on and off the field.See you at Walsall. We won't be any worse than we were there last year. Can't see us making enough changes in Jan to arrest the mediocrity on the pitch. Can't see any announcement either regarding a new stadium.Think I'll emigrate or it will be visiting Conference grounds again at this rate. Don't panic man. A new manager will sort it out.

Very disappointing ...points today would have seen a top half finish very likely...its now a relegation battle over the coming months. January will be so important for the future of everything at the club for the next five years. January will be a big let down. We will faff around for 30 days. Then sign a couple of loan plàyers at the final hour. To rub salt in the already gaping wounds the loan players will not appear in the first team at all.

We really are poor and likely to get weaker rather than stronger in January. Relegation fodder I'm afraid.

We're going to have to scrap for what we can get in the coming weeks but there are a lot of teams in a cluster and a couple of decent results will see things in a different light. Not a great way to go into Christmas but it could be worse, we could have been done 7-0 at home like Oxford were today!

Then we are putting at 'risk' the future of our club. This will result in a massive loss from Football grants : Season ticket sales and a drop back to the basement division. Then why would we even need to revamp a ground which holds 12000 plus in the bottom div ?. I think January will test the boards ambition ?

Correct Tbone we are predictable on and off the pitch.

A candidate for the worst home performance of the season along with the AFC Wimbledon game. We couldn't get the ball forward quick enough and I thought that Sinclair and Bodin were very poor. Two tough away matches coming up and we must improve.

The last time that the board gave Mr Clarke some money to spend, he went out and used it to purchase a complete and utter waste of space that is Nichols. He cannot be trusted to use any money wisely. If he doesn't get replaced we could well go down. He has a history of getting this club relegated after all.

Yes he spent £300k plus on a striker who looks no better than James. However: our complete defence is worth less than £100k and he spent £130k net in 3 years and our wage budget is in the bottom 6 . So I take it if D,C is replaced money is coming in January for the new one ??

Perhaps not needing to revamp the ground is part of the master plan? Something has ripped the heart out of the team in recent weeks.

The owners will have to decide whether spending money will definitely ensure league one football and to be able to move forward next season. If they think spending might not make any difference to the teams chances then they may risk saving money and risking relegation. The thing the statistician in them should really think about is that promotion back up from league two could be ten years away again.
That said no matter the budget you still have to persuade the right players to join BRFC. The Sercombe signing showed the direction they originally planned to go...think they will need to go back to that plan again
