Difficult to know where we go from here, it's not that a few changes to the team from the current squad will make much difference, the players have just lost their way and their confidence to play football has gone. The team needs fresh blood but no one is going to release anyone in January at prices our owners are likely to pay. The squad when playing to their potential is good enough to stay up but it only seems to click for a game or two then it back to square one. The let-downs of the pitch have played their part and whilst DC puts a brave face on it, he knows he's battling against the odds and so do the players.
It's likely that BB will be off in January at a knock down price so we won't have money to replace him let alone improve the squad.
Loans are hit and miss, you might strike lucky but loans not best option for a relegation battle.
Just to think I was fool enough to believe 'em when they said new stadium, top class training facilities and a top 6 budget...all has proved to be lies.
It's hard to dig deep in such circumstances but I'll keep supporting them but do now hope the Al Qadis sell up as there is clearly no future with them or Hamer as Chair. If it's a low budget future then at least we need owners with a vision and plan for the way forward who can work with a manager who knows the position. Trouble is who would pay the £12 milion loan back to them.
Hard to see a solution...

The last time that the board gave Mr Clarke some money to spend, he went out and used it to purchase a complete and utter waste of space that is Nichols. He cannot be trusted to use any money wisely. If he doesn't get replaced we could well go down. He has a history of getting this club relegated after all. John Ward relegated us.. We were not in a relegation position when Ward departed the managers office, but we were when the season finished.Given that as evidence can you please explain how you work that out?

Everything around the club just feels so flat at the moment. Its times like this that a chairman or owner comes into their own but our Chairman is a spokesman for an owner that lives the other side of the world and now seems disinterested.
Everything is on DC’s shoulders and i just hope we can improve our recruitment.

Big questions over team, pitch, refurbed Mem/New Stadium, UWE debacle,Jan Window, etc but never any answers.Perhaps the board are all on holiday?.Serious issues to address and would be surprised if the seeming apathy can continue for much longer.Crowds will drop quickly too so our promised' Evolution not Revolution' seems to be just political spin which many have suspected for a while. 'Be patient'.Yes have been patient for 60 years but the club has hit a brick wall.Leadership not in evidence anywhere sadly.

Little seems to inspire our Team this season with the bad run following the 0-6 win at Northampton and again after the two victories against Rotherham and Southend. We were treated to a shocking performance at Gillingham and a poor performance today. This is a long way from the fighting qualities we have been used to under DC. A dark cloud has settled over us since the shortfall in Summer signings and the walk away from the UWE. No rallying call from Wael and nothing from the mute/faceless purse holder, Hani. Stagnation has affected the Club, so would an on-line petition directed at Hani, demanding a firm statement of intentions force him out into the open? The Club badly needs a lift up out of the doldrums and it is the AQ's responsibility to instigate that - let's see action.

The board are in Jordan and rarely turn up. Who has their finger on the pulse of what we need ? We have a finance director and a chairman who is nothing more then a spokesman. I do wonder if on a day to day basis we have enough people involved.

A very disappointing game - thought we deserved a draw despite that and if Gaffney had been kept on I believe we would've - terrible substitution !!
8,300 shows that fans are starting to give up on The Gas - worrying times and 2 away games coming. DC has got a massive job on his hands, hope he can pull some rabbits out of the hat in Jan window. UTG !

I do think this is a the heart of the problem, Hani does not talk and has no interest in football, Wael makes promises but Hani over-rules them and Hamer who seems to know little about football seems to make it up as he goes. DC carries the can but I'm not sure he will put up with this nonsense too much longer. Just can't think of any positives at the moment.

That was painful, stood off them first half and they had all the time in the world, they sat back second half two banks of four and held out quite comfortably. We were narrow, disjointed and weak. Why take off Gaffers are only real threat, we were worse after the subs and MS looked lost on the sidelines to me.

Or may be, the board will not put up with any more nonsense and get rid of the manager. We have now lost 11 of the last 14 matches. That is a pathetic run of results. He will be lucky to survive till the end of the transfer window.

This is the first step imo, establish some sort of hotline straight to Hani's ivory tower. It has gone past empty words from Hamer and Wael. As the other poster mentioned it is now a time for strong leadership and the man who knows how much money is available and for what needs to speak frankly to GT and the paying customers. The problem is that DS do not communicate with the media and have little incentive to talk to anyone. Their investment can be withdrawn via the sale of the stadium so their money is not dependent on the performance of the club. They win (or at least don't lose anything) either way you slice it. It is the fans that lose, big time.

What disappointed me today -was how narrow we played - was this some tactic to stop high-flying Doncaster ?? for ffs ?!! . Bodin was stuck in the middle between Gaffney and Harrison and yet still hardly touched it 1st half. Sercombe ( who had scored in the last 3 games) was being held back central and deep with Sincs and Parts. So nothing out left and nothing out right and to cap it all Brown and Leads did very little whenever they pushed up. Brown did try hard and put in some reasonable crosses 2nd half but then at other times his passing was utterly garbage.

Dc turned on the board when he felt let down- will the board repay the favour after 11 losses in 14 games? You could say he deserves the window to turn it around but the summer business was shocking- can we afford to do that again? I don’t see how he can take us forward from here tbh. Sad times! The clubs a mess from head to toe.
