On the plus side any championship scouts at the game today will be writing a ‘don’t bother’ note to their manager regards Billy. If it wasn’t for his reputation he’d have been off at 60 mins. I’d have had him off regardless as he was the opposite of contributing. You could have said he was at the Doncaster races by mistake. Sinclair is Sinclair and is lucky to be starting in a league one side let alone still be on the pitch after half time. Had a fantastic opportunity to get forward and just stood still. He was poor today but I also think that our biggest mistake was playing him Out of position. We’ve tried him as a striker before it didn’t work we’ve tried him as a left winger before it didn’t work, we’ve tried him in the hole behind the strikers before it didn’t work but as a right inside forward cutting in on his left he’s lethal so in a must win home game we play him as a striker for a bit as a left winger for a bit and in the hole for a bit. He played badly today but I’m not convinced he wasn’t up for it. I still can't get my head around why BB was moved from his favoured right wing role after he tore Southend apart in our last home game. It's almost as if the management now wants us to fail. Then to top it all they replace Gaffney when he was the only striker looking likely to score with the lightweight Nichols. At least they've saved me the time and expense of travelling to Walsall on Boxing Day.

Set pieces poor, passing unbelievable at times, either they ain’t interested or not good enough or a bit of both, team needs a major shake up. Gaffers and Ellis only two who could go home satisfied with their application and desire shown, relegation will happen without new players. We cannot win away, and our home form is dwindling, very worrying. Why is it that whoever is on free kicks and corners we barely ever get it beyond the first man. One of the most frustrating things in football and so unnecessary.

I like sercs but his corners were woeful, when Linesy is not on we must do better, this transfer window is pivotal to us staying up get ready for Hamer say it is a difficult time to do any business, Bodin will go two hours before the window shuts and we will be sat there like lemons keep refreshing the BBC football transfer business page, wondering if we are getting a replacement or any new players in.

A winger (or two if Bodin goes) is a must even if 4-4-2 isn't going to be the preferred formation. We have to have a squad that enables any formation depending on the circumstances, the current squad leaves DC with his hands tied.

The last time that the board gave Mr Clarke some money to spend, he went out and used it to purchase a complete and utter waste of space that is Nichols. He cannot be trusted to use any money wisely. If he doesn't get replaced we could well go down. He has a history of getting this club relegated after all. I think it is 50-50 !. Yes he spent £300k plus on a striker who looks no better than James. However: our complete defence is worth less than £100k and he spent £130k net in 3 years and our wage budget is in the bottom 6 . So I take it if D,C is replaced money is coming in January for the new one ?? Your having a serious discussion with a poster who said the manager was clueless during both promotion seasons and during last seasons 10th place season? If you stay at a club like bristol rovers long enough your going to struggle just like bert tann, don megson and paul trollope did.

Not as dodgy as undroppable Tom. tell me about it!!! I need to go and think about something else until Boxing Day as the gas are genuinely making me depressed! What makes me more depressed is the thought that we could get relegated (and many more performances like today/last week will make that more likely) and 💩 could get promoted. And they seem incapable of losing at the moment, no matter how much we may like to bury our head in the sand. Doesn’t bear thinking about. 😢

Pretty sure that went around the time the UWE talks collapsed and the rumours about contractors not being paid surfaced. The ALQ's got us promoted on the back of the feel good factor I now feel they'll get us relegated due to the negative vibes.

Can't we all just admit that majority of our squad are now out of their depth and unable to carry the club. We are in desperate need of new life.

In some ways I'd prefer a relegation scrap over mid table mediocrity. The matches mean something! Remember the win at Wycombe? Ok, we still went down.....but the passion and commitment!

We have been in worse positions & with some awful players who couldn't care less. However, this performance was absolutely woeful. We can talk about formations, tactics all we like, but if players can't even pass the ball what is the point. Ellis put in an excellent shift again today, unfortunately best bits were defensive duties. Gaffers ran his sock off too - the rest were poor. Probably not good enough, the effort seemed lacklusture today. Could there be a bug going round the club? Moore certainly looked *ed during a fitness test pre match. Talk of Locks & Bodin going to championship clubs is a joke - although we might be better off?

DC won't be sacked. That would mean the board would have to tell us via a press conference and as they don't communicate how would we know.?.Stoke fans here all chuffed to-night and its now doubtful if I'll bother with the short journey to Walsall on Tuesday as I feel so deflated.Wimbledon ,Gillingham and to-day showed our team is many players short of what we need.Just not sure how the demise on the field and nothing happening off will take an up-turn.Will they sell,do a runner or spend some money? Even the pitch is giving up!!!!

Well that was a relegation-standard performance, and today is the first time I’m genuinely concerned about us retaining our place in L1.
We just showed nothing. There are no positives to be taken from the game whatsoever. Perhaps the one positive is that Doncaster were also woeful - as a good side would have embarrassed us.
What business we do next month will determine whether or not we stay up this season IMO. At the moment we look desperately short of quality and confidence, and our home form can’t afford to slip considering our shocking away record over the last 12 months.
Based on today’s game, Doncaster will go down this season. And we just lost to them. At home. Not good.
Oh, and that pitch is a total and utter joke. The last thing our out-of-form, confidence-shot defenders need is to be playing on a beach.

We are really in the sh*t both on and off the field. We owe Dwane Sports £12 million, we are loosing £2 million a year despite a low league 1 playing budget, we have an owner in Dwane Sports that refuses to talk let alone invest, a chairman who makes it up as he goes, an affable dreamer called Wael and players who have lost their ability to play. Can anyone tell me a way forward? Is there anyone who can pick up the pieces of what's beginning to look like a lost cause. It just can't go on as it is? Is their some who can lead on or off the pitch?

Also what’s with the smith love - he’s dodgy as anything! Play slocombe ffs! What’s with the Smith hate? And the slocombe love in? His distribution was terrible today but he’s not been a bad keeper for us. He can’t be held responsible for defenders bringing down opposing players in the penalty area. Whats with your sinclair hate? Is your hate purer than other posters hate?
