On the plus side any championship scouts at the game today will be writing a ‘don’t bother’ note to their manager regards Billy.
If it wasn’t for his reputation he’d have been off at 60 mins. I’d have had him off regardless as he was the opposite of contributing. You could have said he was at the Doncaster races by mistake.
Sinclair is Sinclair and is lucky to be starting in a league one side let alone still be on the pitch after half time. Had a fantastic opportunity to get forward and just stood still.

Also what’s with the smith love - he’s dodgy as anything! Play slocombe ffs! What’s with the Smith hate? And the slocombe love in? His distribution was terrible today but he’s not been a bad keeper for us. He can’t be held responsible for defenders bringing down opposing players in the penalty area.

As for BB well a player that thinks he's moving on in a couple of weeks is not going to burst a gut is he ? Sinclair has done well with limited ability and huge effort over the years but you are right he's not league 1 quality by any stretch of the imagination.

We were not in a relegation position when Ward departed the managers office, but we were when the season finished.Given that as evidence can you please explain how you work that out? If you were handed an already failing Project at work - because that season, we were sh** all season otherwise John Ward would have stayed on, trust me - if something was failing already and destined to fail, would you take the blame then? If yes, I would love to work with you, could slopey shoulder everything if i it was going wrong. DC has promoted twice in 3 seasons. He needs backing for an overhaul. Our owners are now letting him down.

Lets face it, its all gone tits up since the snake slithered off. Even Lines' interview before the Scunny game he was saying we cant keep letting in goals as we havent got Taylor.
Hardly inspiring to hear.
Technically Bodin is the better footballer but the snake was more consistent. Only one player but I havent seen any belief in the team since he went to the sister shaggers.

Sad days for BRFC.We are in decline both on and off the field.See you at Walsall. We won't be any worse than we were there last year. Can't see us making enough changes in Jan to arrest the mediocrity on the pitch. Can't see any announcement either regarding a new stadium.Think I'll emigrate or it will be visiting Conference grounds again at this rate. Don't panic man. A new manager will sort it out. What like Marcus Stewart?

We need an overhaul the quality of the players we have are not good enough. The board need to back DC sufficiently otherwise prepare for league 2.
January WILL speak volume how here for the long run Wael is, next season does he want to be the owner of a league 1 club or a league 2 club.
DoF would help DC out with recruitment, much like Lennie did with Trollope. DC now needs help to identify more talented players at this level.

Little seems to inspire our Team this season with the bad run following the 0-6 win at Northampton and again after the two victories against Rotherham and Southend. We were treated to a shocking performance at Gillingham and a poor performance today. This is a long way from the fighting qualities we have been used to under DC. A dark cloud has settled over us since the shortfall in Summer signings and the walk away from the UWE. No rallying call from Wael and nothing from the mute/faceless purse holder, Hani. Stagnation has affected the Club, so would an on-line petition directed at Hani, demanding a firm statement of intentions force him out into the open? The Club badly needs a lift up out of the doldrums and it is the AQ's responsibility to instigate that - let's see action. This is the first step imo, establish some sort of hotline straight to Hani's ivory tower. It has gone past empty words from Hamer and Wael. As the other poster mentioned it is now a time for strong leadership and the man who knows how much money is available and for what needs to speak frankly to GT and the paying customers. The problem is that DS do not communicate with the media and have little incentive to talk to anyone. Their investment can be withdrawn via the sale of the stadium so their money is not dependent on the performance of the club. They win (or at least don't lose anything) either way you slice it. It is the fans that lose, big time. If enough of us directly petition Hani, he will have to respond or risk unrest and not just from the Supporters. I believe his attitude may eventually take us to the edge of extinction. If we do nothing, the spectre of relegation will soon be upon us. Does anyone in agreement know how to get an on-line petition going?

If he’s already checked out he shouldn’t be wearing the shirt. We could have a Lionel messi but if a player has checked out they’re no better than a Byron Moore. Today billy was a luxury and playing about with the ball as if it was a kick about and not a game we were losing 1-0 in.

He's not going to be interested in what the fans think, I'd be amazed if he even knew today's result.

He was poor today but I also think that our biggest mistake was playing him Out of position. We’ve tried him as a striker before it didn’t work we’ve tried him as a left winger before it didn’t work, we’ve tried him in the hole behind the strikers before it didn’t work but as a right inside forward cutting in on his left he’s lethal so in a must win home game we play him as a striker for a bit as a left winger for a bit and in the hole for a bit. He played badly today but I’m not convinced he wasn’t up for it.

Also what’s with the smith love - he’s dodgy as anything! Play slocombe ffs! Not as dodgy as undroppable Tom. I'd drop a few of 'em after today but no one in the squad any better I'm afraid.

I thought today was a very poor game between two poor teams. If we had played until midnight I still don't think we would've scored. There was no real spark and we struggled to create any clear cut chances.
Bodin struggled and looked like his mind was elsewhere. Harrison worked hard but did his best work in defensive areas making a few good defensive headers/clearances. Gaffney worked his socks off and had a couple of decent efforts and was unlucky to be taken off, but apart from that there wasn't any real threat.
Defence looked shaky at times again, the formation too narrow and left us with a lack of width. Just a poor game all round really...Roll on January and let's hope we can pull a few rabbits out of the hat because this side could do with a bit of magic!

Set pieces poor, passing unbelievable at times, either they ain’t interested or not good enough or a bit of both, team needs a major shake up. Gaffers and Ellis only two who could go home satisfied with their application and desire shown, relegation will happen without new players. We cannot win away, and our home form is dwindling, very worrying.
