DC won't be sacked. That would mean the board would have to tell us via a press conference and as they don't communicate how would we know.?.Stoke fans here all chuffed to-night and its now doubtful if I'll bother with the short journey to Walsall on Tuesday as I feel so deflated.Wimbledon ,Gillingham and to-day showed our team is many players short of what we need.Just not sure how the demise on the field and nothing happening off will take an up-turn.Will they sell,do a runner or spend some money? Even the pitch is giving up!!!! that pitch bit made me lol 😂 please if there is a god give us some bloody good news!

positives for me today. partington was effective in the 2nd half playing some good probing passes and trying hard to create a goal. Gaffney has a very good 2nd half making willing runs and hitting some good wrong foot shots and crosses.

I have to say, that was utter crap.
It's not as if our management and players didn't know what to expect; Ferguson said in the media they were going to make it difficult for us, and that's exactly what they did. They got in our faces from the off. They chased and harried and threw themselves to the ground screaming in agony every time they were tackled.
They screamed and shouted at the ref and linesmen, and the ref let them get away with it. They even managed to get him to change from a goal kick to a corner for them by getting in his face.
I'm not making excuses for us, because we just stood back and let them get away with it.
A sh it game between 2 sh it sides I'm afraid.

Yep, agree with others. That was utter sh**e again.
Sigh.
For me Gaffers was ok, Brown was the best of a bad bunch and only Ellis looked interested and came out of that game with any credit.

Partington was effective 2nd half the blokes way out of his league same as Sinclair and sweeney

Effective in our own half but what did he actually do in his own half, his performance was a strange one. Then MS subs our only goal threat!

I think we are all going to be even more disillusioned come the end of January I just can't see DC getting what he needs to keep us in division one I hate being so negative but it ain't looking good worrying times or wot!😱

We are really in the sh*t both on and off the field. We owe Dwane Sports £12 million, we are loosing £2 million a year despite a low league 1 playing budget, we have an owner in Dwane Sports that refuses to talk let alone invest, a chairman who makes it up as he goes, an affable dreamer called Wael and players who have lost their ability to play. Can anyone tell me a way forward? Is there anyone who can pick up the pieces of what's beginning to look like a lost cause. It just can't go on as it is? Is their some who can lead on or off the pitch? You missed a manager who decides to pull a sicky, after seemingly being OK to do interviews the day before the match.

Best thing for me was the couple of pints of Gem in the Wellie at least it anaesthetised the pain.

In some ways I'd prefer a relegation scrap over mid table mediocrity. The matches mean something! Remember the win at Wycombe? Ok, we still went down.....but the passion and commitment! Err no I’d rather we were in mid table.

I guess his performance was just good in comparison to 10 other poor players out there.

Yes, Donny were truly terrible at playing football as were we, but they had a plan to frustrate, waste time and whinge at every opportunity and it showed they wanted it more than we did. Terrible to watch but clearly intentional. The lack of passion and fight we showed was what worries me most as I genuinely think this team have given up at the halfway point, possibly bar 3 or 4 players that showed they were up for it yesterday. We lost our heads, and it showed in the basics going spectacularly wrong - corners, free kicks, goal kicks - all basic stuff, practiceable and generally dreadful

Gaffney, Ellis and Brown gave as much as they could with what was around them. Ellis won about 4 headers in our own box yesterday when defending. Running back and winning tackles in midfield. He just gets no service. Sweeney looked solid as well, for once.
Nichols was a waste of a sub, especially for Gaffney and Telford did more in 30secs that Nichols did in 20 mins.
We looked a threat for 10 mins when we went 352 and Gaffney was on. After that we were never going to get back into the game.

There is no direction or help from Hamer, WAQ or Hani, and DC 's no show yesterday, is not great. Marcus was a a scape goat and clearely out of his depth, brilliant goal scorer not so good in front of the microphone

Why don’t understand what the point of him being here??? He must be getting right watered of I would!!

DC lives in Eastleigh area so although it's not an excuse, if he's feeling bad the extra travelling may not be helpful for longer term wellbeing, especially with a game on Tuesday.

The two Swansea lads hardly got a look in either. If they are no better than what we have already got id rather our own young lads were experiencing being in the 1st team squad.
