If we are going to go 442 why not put bola at LW. He would be a better option than Sercombe.

Byron Moore not even on the bench still. Can't see him playing again.Poor signing with Monty now fit and scoring for Vale.

Drop Gaffney?? No Telford again But Nichols gets another chance somebody tell me why? Cost DC spent the budget on Nicholls and so need a further chance to prove himself...got a geeling he might score today.

I’m sure most teams that played on Saturday will be making quite a few changes today. No surprise to me that we’ve started with two central midfielders with fresh legs - whether that’ll pay off or not is another matter!
Nichols finally playing alongside a ‘big’ man upfront in a 4-4-2. Need a performance from him today.

I agree with DC that a change in both personnel and formation was needed after the last two games but for me, the wrong people have been taken out. Players such as Bola and Telford deserve a chance and both Gaffney and Partington shouldn't have dropped, yet Lockyer who has let us down time and time again remains in the starting lineup. I never like to be pessimistic but I can only see today ending in defeat.
Time to see players such as Nichols and Ollie Clarke putting in big performances.

It is a hard choice up top:
Harrison 11 in 2232mins = 1 every 203 mins = 1 every 2.3 games Gaffney 6 in 1430mins = 1 every 238 mins = 1 every 2.6 games Nichols 2 in 1591mins = 1 every 795 mins = 1 every 8.8 games Telford 3 in 362 mins = 1 every 121 mins = 1 every 1.3 games

In his pre-match interview DC said he's been popping a lot of pills..... that explains the team selection.

We're down to 18th now after Gillingham's draw. Table is ridiculously tight. A win could see us as high as 12th or a loss as low as 20th
