Same here. so after last season's "no show" by the team I'm giving this a miss and will watch it on iFollow, just hope I'm annoyed I didn't go come 5pm. My real concern is DC will follow last season's Boxing Day match and rest a few of last Saturday's starting 11.

I am hoping for at least a point given the disappointment of the last 2 games. UTG

Strange that Gaffney is dropped and even stranger that Nichols gets a start. Saying that, I bet Nicholls will get a couple of goals now I've said that. I hope so.
Come on Gas, get back to winning ways today!!!

Every week, I look at the line up, and just how weak we are jumps right out.
Looks like a really slow and lightweight side we are putting out today. I see our center midfield failing to support our defenders today.
Can only hope Bodin and Sercombe both turn up.
Also feel for Gaffeney, one of few players that has some fight in them.
As you might gather from the above, not optimistic.

We can moan all we want about DC's changes but it hasn't worked recently when he has kept what we perceived as our best team so he really is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't at the moment. When you're on a bad run sometimes it takes a player or two to put their hands up and play above themselves, and in doing so to inspire the rest of the team to that extra 5%. Every player in that team has shown that they have what it takes to play at this level, albeit not all of them consistently. I'm not putting it past an Ollie Clarke or a Tom Broadbent, players of undoubted character, to raise their game today. When the going gets tough.....

After witnessing last season's inept display there I couldn't face a return visit today and looking at the side chosen I don't think I will miss anything. Looks lightweight, passing will be hurried/inaccurate, attempts on goal feeble/non existent and a mistake or lack of marking in defence waiting to happen. Of course at 5 o clock I will be happy to have my face proverbially covered in egg. UTG

Im not sure what part of 4 games in 8 days people didn't hear.
Expect Gaffney to come on later in the game and for Harrison not to start the next game. Telford will replace Bodin or Nichols today at some point. Also expect Sercombe to be replaced by Sinclair second half.
Unless things don't go to plan that is......

I’d be very surprised if we get anything today! Not a fan of smith, Sweeney dropped which IMO is correct but the inexperienced Broadbent is a risk, mr speedy still at lb, wingers who aren’t wingers, out of form cm pairing and then that little muppet up top! Please prove me wrong gas!

I worry that the changes DC has made is down to him giving everyone in the squad a game over Christmas, and one last chance to impress, before finally making up his mind which ones he is going to release in January.

UTG Yep,last season here was really dreadful.James Clarke was my MOM .Never let us down but sadly still not fit.Think it was Snakey's last goal for us here last season.
