The fact I nearly went arse over tit just now slipping on my neighbours waterlogged lawn when trying to feed their f**king rabbits means nothing, they used builders sand to help it drain I believe Note to self: Must remember to add “lol” or 😂 to posts when attempting humour. 😂 |

Well, those New Years Day stats for both teams would look to favour us, plus a couple of key injuries for them may help too. Heart says a hard fought Gas win, but (throbbing) head says a draw at best. Happy New Year everyone Come on Gas Heart & head say we get beaten and by more than 1 goal |

Anyone know the odds on a Rovers win ?15/8 - I think that is great odds against a team who have lost 7 out of 12 away whilst our home form has generally been very strong for a while now. The fact I have started the match thread is a good omen in itself.  |

Happy new year everyone. Feeling positive today so I'm going to predict a 2-0 win for the gas. We need to put Doncaster behind us and start reaching the levels at home which we know we can. Portsmouth have done well recently but I still confident that we should have enough to win. UTG

Woke up filled with dread about today’s game - one of those can I really be bothered to go games of which I will be here anyway as always!
We always do awful against Pompey!
New year and all that jazz - let’s hope something changes and we play more Southend than Wimbledon. Jekyll or Hyde? I’m struggling to guess what team we will see today. Hopefully a solid one with energy as thats what’s needed. I just want to see us have a real go and get the fans on side and singing!

Knowing our recent form and wobbles, even at home, I would say that 15/8 is a very decent price for Pompey today. My head has also told me never to gamble so make of that what you will  Heart has always seen nothing other than a Rovers win. |
