Woke up filled with dread about today’s game - one of those can I really be bothered to go games of which I will be here anyway as always! We always do awful against Pompey! New year and all that jazz - let’s hope something changes and we play more Southend than Wimbledon. Jekyll or Hyde? I’m struggling to guess what team we will see today. Hopefully a solid one with energy as thats what’s needed. I just want to see us have a real go and get the fans on side and singing! Pompey will have around 1800 here. They have the away end plus the south tent. We are going to have to be loud to keep their fans from getting them reallynup for this. The last 3 home games , the atmosphere has been terrible |

Right now we are twelve points away from Portsmouth. We are having a tough time but still only 12pts away from Portsmouth. A ground breaking result would be 2 or 3 nill to us. Is it stretching to win 1-0. It might be realistic to draw. Just maybe this is the day when the team come together and surprise a few of us. A ground breaking result would set us up for season. Fingers crossed.
