Good result that, could have nicked it a couple of times at the end.
Good performance, sold it defence and dangerous on the counter (especially 2nd half)
Lockyer, Gaffney, Sinclair & Bola particularly stuck out for me.
Thought Nicholls didn’t put a foot wrong when he came on, he looked very dangerous.
Ironic how good Lumley was for us, probably their MOTM today. He made some excellent saves

Excellent. Perfect approach away from home. Stiffle the game restrict chances defend well. Push for a winner late on.
If they had that approach from the start of the season they would be pushing the playoffs now.

Just the 3 goals conceded from 5 games since Gillingham. DC and the coaching staff deserve some credit for tightening up a very shaky defence.

Win at home and draw away will give us 39 points for the rest of the season. 39 + 32 = 71 pts would have seen us finish 8th last season.

A clean sheet away from home probably the most positive thing from today.
Thought the choice of subs was a little strange. Unusually for Harrison to be taken off and thought we would see the new guy.
Typically Lumley made some cracking saves towards the end.

He made some excellent saves Thought we looked a different team, attacking wise, after Nichols replaced Harrison, making it look like 2 pts lost rather than 1 pt gained in the end. Not sure if we changed tactics or Harrison's mind was elsewhere. |
