Smith 6.5 - Didn't have much to do but what he did he did fine
Partington 6.5 - Had a difficult job against a tricky winger but did well
Bola 6 - A bit off the pace
Lockyer 7.5 - Kept a close eye on the cheating number 9, getting back to his best
Broadbent 8 - Hardly put a foot wrong and rarely hoofs the ball
Lines 8 - Was excellent and deserved a goal
Sercombe 8.5 MOM- Outstanding second half in particular

Sinclair 7.5 - Solid if unspectacular
Gaffney 7 - Good in General sometimes gives the ball away too easy

Ref 6 - Was doing fine until a shocking penalty decision, did not caution anybody, and that's unusual

Bradford 5 - Did not look a top 6 team, Wyke was disgrace to his profession.

We deserved that for a good quality attacking performance. Sometimes found a bit short in midfield but players look as though form is returning! We look a lot better defensively though left back worries me. 3 more players may enhance the squad to keep us away from the lower reaches. Khan may not be one after being sent off today for pushing the referee. On to Donny and UTG!!

Smith: 8. Competent and safe throughout.

Partington: 7.5. Tough task against a tricky winger but Parts stuck to his task well. Great to see him score too.
Bola: 7.5. Cracking second half to show glimpses of quality. Still not convinced he offers more than Browner though.
Lockyer: 9. Back to his best and kept the dangerous Wyke quiet.
Broadbent: 9.5 MOM. Immense. Knocked off half a point for failing to put a good chance on target in the first half, but can't recall a missed header or tackle and his distribution was excellent. A real find.

Clarke: 8. Solid, all action display. Could have done without an unnecessary booking for dissent after their goal (even though he had a point).
Sinclair: 8.5. Another typical Sincs performance. Harried their back line from the tip of the diamond so often they were rushed into hurried and inaccurate clearances. Typifies this team.
Sercombe: 9. Dangerous second half and in truth should have scored more than once. A threat going forward although does rely on others defensively at times.
Lines: 8. Hardworking and glimpses of his quality throughout.

Gaffney: 7.5. Worked hard as ever although perhaps not his best day. I like Gaffers though...another quality DC signing, despite the myth that recruitment is a weakness.
Harrison: 9. Excellent. Hardworking, skillful and a constant menace to Bradford's back line. Player of the Year so far.

Ref: 4. Mixed bag from the ref who was a bit of a homer until he gave one of the most ridiculous penalties I have seen. I have a suspicion he evened it up with ours later. Caught napping by Ellis' foot tangle and then Linesy talked him into changing his mind for a corner. Weak.
