Just chucking this out there to see if anyone can verify/flatly deny (I'm 50/50 on this)
South Stand may not be with us next season.... Does anyone think that this could carry any substance? I personally cant see that it can?

I personally cant see that it can? Interesting. Why would we get rid of it unless we have a suitable replacement (preferably actual development or at least an improvement) lined up? We don't have enough seating as it is even with the South West stand in place.

As I said, just something that came on my radar yesterday - I know the club have issues with South Stand area - bar, food and drink etc... but it would have to be some mega issues to totally remove the stand surely...

As there are no plans or permission for a permanent structure drawn or approved I would say the stand will be there next year. And the year after.
However if we were to start a rebuild the south stand or the North Terrace would be the places to start.

Umm. Planning issue? When is a temporary structure no longer temporary?

Umm. Planning issue? When is a temporary structure no longer temporary? That’s possible. I had business premises with a temporary structure and we had or reapply for planning permission every three years. Not sure if planning rules have changed. Perhaps they have along with regulations.

I didn't really fancy a debate on this, but i find it strange that folk are suggesting a 3000 capacity side stand is what they find acceptable and anything greater is suggested as dream world....

Surely getting to 15 k got to be first logical step?

I can't believe that some are now selling for 15k stadiums, im sure we could build more like 20k seater if it is to be the men.
In all honesty I don't think anything will be built, I have lost faith and belief that our owners want to build a modern ground. At least they had a nice tour of MK Dons ground though, what waste of time.
