We are on the same points as we were at this stage last year. Last year we had W12, D9 and L11. We had scored 49 and conceded 51 so had a GD of -2. This year we have W14 D3 and L15. We have scored 48 and conceded 50, so again have a GD of -2. We were 5 points of the playoffs last year but Millwall in 6th had a game in hand. We are 5 points off this year but have a game in hand. If only we didn't have that poor run eh. Good to see that we might think it’s possible..

Hard fought 3 points!so pleased Byron was able to make positive, match winning contribution, feet on the ground chaps we have a pretty tough 14 games ahead ,as well as Wigan,Blackburn,Scunny at home all of whom are tough but beatable,we also have the early season whipping boys like Northampton, Gillingham, Plymouth, all of whom have turned things around and will not be pushovers, my most optimistic forecast last 14 games ? win 8 draw 2 lose 4,equals 71 pts! where would that leave us?come on you blue boys!

Wimbledon conceded 4 tonight.Thinking of our squad, Ellis,James Clark,Locks,Leads,Sweens.Bola,Bernardo,Bennett etc none of em started to-night for various reasons so squad looking strong all of a sudden.Game in hand over Muff. What's not to like?

Why ain't he giving Mensah more of a chance Have to trust DC on Mensah. He sees him day in, day out on the training pitch and must feel he's not yet ready for league one or hasn't got the high level of fitness required yet. Probably see just the odd cameo and then a lot more of him next season. Great result tonight after shocking first half performance. Great character once again. What happened to MrBone second half?

A bonkers 2nd half when both teams could have got about 4 each ! We were so poor for the first 30 mins - we couldn't string any passes together and players getting in each other's way.
I thought Bennett and Moore made the difference - they used their experience and showed some quality on the ball in amongst all the frantic play.

Just got back, how the f**k did we win that! We were crap 1st half, better 2nd I thought Dale were a bit unlucky but who gives a sh** eh? Cracking Lines goal and I think Byron Moore has been abducted by aliens and replaced with a body double? Great to see though fair play to him. Great 3 points well done boys on we go to Saturday UTG!

Found it interesting that tonight we had the same 3 scorers as the Bradford game. Partington has now scored 3 home games in a row!

Very poor first half and Rochdale might feel aggrieved not to have got something out the game but the three excellent goals and a win make me a happy gasheads nevertheless. I thought Gaffney and Sercombe in particular were outstanding tonight especially in the second half and Lines had a decent game too. Keep winning these types of games any you never know UTG

Yes they looked relegation fodder but I wouldn't ever say we've looked relegation material this season. Pleased for Argyle and look forward to going to the game -could be a 15,000 + crowd th way things are going. UTG !

Strange game tonight we were so poor 1st half and probably fortunate to only be 1 down, having said that the 'goal' was a real weird one personally couldn't see anything wrong but the ref seemed to give a free kick then changed his mind. Much better 2nd half but still never really looked comfortable. Great goal to win it superbly set up by Moore - credit where it's due he was excellent when he came on. Personally I think playing on the right helped he never seemed comfortable on the left but was never going to get in ahead of Bodin, hopefully this will be the kick start he needed.

I think you're right. I remember v Oldham he also played very well on the right side. I'd even like to see him start next game = think it'd give the team a bit more balance. Possibly play 5 in midfield - Bennett on the left , Moore on the right. Although Gaffney had a good game I thought we missed Ellis tonight.

One of the worst first halves i have witnessed this season maybe aside from the Wimbledon game, but credit to the lads for the second half performance. First half we stood off their midfield and they pulled us all over the place. The second half we got much tighter and improved considerably especially when are two weak links were replaced clarke and Nicholls.
A very good performance from Byron moore who caused them all sorts of problems.
Best player on the pitch was their no 27 ( cannon) who went off injured. Fantastic little player.

A crazy game.
First half was useless. Playing the system all wrong. Top marks to the team and DC for turning that one around. My man of the match would be smith. Kept us within comeback difference saving a few good efforts. Had Dale got the 2 goal advantage we might have struggled.
Partington was better than I’d seen recently. Good performance. He’s also not diving in so much. He was frustrating in the first half, as he wasn’t making himself avaliable for keeper, but he clearly took it on and changed that second half.
Broadbent had an inconsistent game. Stood on the ball a couple of times and almost got us in trouble. But 1 huge tackle in the first half, and a lovely solo were highlights. He’s a much better player than tonight which is exciting.
Tony Craig: a couple of small ‘oooo ‘eck’ moments but for a centre half coming into a new club he’s hit the ground running.
Browner- one of the better players a very poor first half. A great shame he got injured. Steady.
Lines: played the last 20 like he was xavi, played the first 70 less so... That said, he stuck at it when he found tough, so hats off to him. With the wingers on he could use his passing a little more and his dribbling pace.
Clarke: felt he’s been back towards his best recently, unfortunately didn’t quite do as recent performances. However, his commitment was superb and he’ll be going again soon.
Sinclair: so much battle from the little fella, and really gets the team going. Fantastic stu. His flexibility and fitness allowed us to change the shape and ultimately pick up the W.
Sercs: poor passing and chose odd moments to get it under. But grew and grew into the game. Another goal. He’s clearly the bargain of the summer.
Nicholls: felt for him first half. The supply was woeful and Nicholls didn’t do that much. He looked nervous for the first time today which was a shame. This said, one we found a bit of momentum, he popped up and found a few pockets of space. He clearly gets in goalscoring positions. Something to work on, for sure.
Gaffney: work hard and may have been the best outfielder in the first half. A naughty elbow could have caused us trouble. Good player, consistent.
Bola: did well and may be in line for another run of matches with brown injured. An adequate replacement.
Bennett: tidy, kept the ball well and defends well for an attacking style player.
Byron: excellent cameo, a great assist, he also won the free kick in the lead up to it. Game changer. And illustration to those who are currently not getting the minutes: you might, so be ready! Well done.
