6 points away from another season in league one more like! Didn't we get relegated to league two with 53 or 54 points once, so shouldn't we aim for 55 points to be safe? Statisticians correct me if I'm wrong. Went down in 2001 with 51pts and again in 2011 with 45pts. Agree with you that we should always assume 54/55pts would be needed for safety. Nearly there, so on with the promotion push!

Thanks for correcting me. Every team in every league always start with the goal of attaining safety, and then look to see what they can achieve with whatever games they have left. So let's get enough points on the board as soon as possible, and then see where we can get to.

I just cant imagine that was our managers outlook before the season started,its just not his style. Every team in every league? Real madrid,man city,chesea or wigan and blackburn ? no way.

Question is whether to go for a fourth? Should it be like penalties and one person keeps going until they have a loss then change?
