What do you call "a high standard of football" that you played in? Unfair to say his legs have gone or hes just picking up a wage imo. National league south Well thats a high standard as long as it wasnt just an odd game because of injuries. You should know better than to write craig off so early then shouldnt you?

Thing is if he doesn’t play center back then he’s left back but I really rate Brown he gives us so much going forward. Good to have options. Im not sure what position he played last year,i mean he played 57 games it says on his wiki in a promoted team which is impressive. The shrewsbury goal was a wicked cross just made for their giant centre-back to attack and difficult for craig to deal with but todays goal looked soft. I find it mystifying why we needed another left sided CB, when Sweeney had just started to find form but Broadbent was looking better with every day, surely we're not going to have them both sat on the bench or in the stands now? Whilst in midfield we have to play Lines, OC & Sincs as just two alone aren't up to the task.

Completely agree we needed a midfielder more than a rather short, rather slow and rather aging central defender come left back. Experience is good to have in a squad but would be concerned if it holds back Broadbent first team opportunities. Why did Craig duck rather than challenge for that cross today?

Until our recent run the centre-backs had been very poor though so its not a complete mystery that we signed a centre-back imo.

Because it was annoying me as to what position tony craig played i scrolled the internet to try and find out. In the play-off final last season he played at left-back. And in a very recent "mail online"interview he says hes a left-back who sometimes helps out manager neil harris by playing at centre-back. He says hes adapted his game in recent seasons because harris likes full backs that bomb forward. I would therefore suggest we have signed a left back who sometimes helps out at centre-back. Maybe the manager dosnt think broadbent is ready to play regularly at the moment?

Give the man a chance, FFS! Plenty of good judges thought he had an excellent game today. Just one error and he's a write off? No chance. Some of our fans should be written off. This forum is fast becoming a joke, going the way that decent forums often do, unfortunately.

Totally agree,I'm away at the moment but followed the game yesterday and after the result I knew there would be a meltdown on here and didn't want to look, however bit like a moth...... Folks we have no divine right to win games,we don't know the reasons why a certain player isn't picked and I trust the Manager to know a lot more about it than I do, plus we will sometimes play poorly, anyone on here never had an off day at work?? A little more perspective would be good.

I'm amazed at some of our fans!
DC changes the team on a regular basis - get used to it - it's been happening for three seasons now and will no doubt continue!
Tom Broadbent has been excellent but I'll bet he hasn't played three games in a week for 10 years! He'll play more than he misses next season.
Tony Craig has strolled through the games that I've seen - looks like a decent signing.
The only opinion that really counts is the managers.

I think you may have forgot where Broadbent came from, He was playing Non-League so Sat and Tue as well as being in the Army and representing his Regiment also the Army and the Armed Forces as well as doing his day job I think your find he's probably enjoying the rest, so you are probably right about the three games more like four or five !! If you get the chance speak to his Dad it's a real eye opener With regards Craig he is a good player but needs to stop this faking of headers he's done it a few times now and tries to draw the foul looks like this time it back fired .

Right back is still a position we need to strengthen... Joe has come in and helped out in some crucial goals recently but he’s a player that frustrates me as he jockeys too much instead of closing down tighter...

He could play every day of the week for the regiment or hayes and yeading but its completely different to playing league 1 football. He also had a nightmare in the home game marking lyle taylor which dc was probably mindful of.

You could have said that about the Bradford game but look what happened when we played them at home he had Wyke in his pocket !! Mind you who did play well against Wimbledon at home !!

Craig came here to start games so i think he will play most games,he would have stayed at millwall otherwise. I presume dc plans to have lockyer/craig as 1st choice centre-backs unless he signed him to play at left back and hes just filling in at centre-back right now.

We need to strengthen the right back position as joe has chipped in with some crucial goals recently but jockeys way to much rather than get tighter and shadow a player until he gets a cross over or even a shot

Typical GAS we are always crap against the teams that are “struggling” we were lucky against Rochdale but got found out yesterday I have never had any aspirations of the play offs this season and will be more than happy with a mid table finish

I always thought they were the same thing.
