You could have said that about the Bradford game but look what happened when we played them at home he had Wyke in his pocket !! Mind you who did play well against Wimbledon at home !! Craig came here to start games so i think he will play most games,he would have stayed at millwall otherwise. I presume dc plans to have lockyer/craig as 1st choice centre-backs unless he signed him to play at left back and hes just filling in at centre-back right now. He may well have done but it doesn’t make him undroppable especially if he keeps wearing concrete boots. The goal he conceded yesterday was poor for a man of his experience. We can’t play Craig at LB with a 433 as he isn’t quick enough anymore and we need energy and speed from our fb to play that roll. He could do a job at Fb in a 442 where someone else in front of him does all the running. Right now, on his last 3 performances I would put Sweeney or Broadbent next to undroppable Tom.

Craig was held down by the Goal Scorer - should be free kick to us

No matter how good Craig was for 92 1/2 minutes yesterday, he switched off and we conceded. He had no intention of jumping for the ball and I hope DC tore into him as he did Smith the other week.
On another note, OTIB loved us conceding late yesterday - Just threw away another comfy lead themselves.
Whilst we have the best comeback stats in the EFL under DC, they must be one of the worst under LJ for throwing away 2+ goal leads?

Still four points thrown away in the last two games. Lovely jubbly.

Im not impressed with Tony Craig so far I have to say.
Can't see he is any improvement at all on anyone else we already had.
Early days I suppose.

But I find it impossible in your case. You are an idiot. If we win we hear nothing, if we lose we get unfiltered bullshit. You should be ashamed of yourself but undoubtedly your self importance will prevent that. If this gets me banned so be it. I like intelligent debate. That is impossible with a self righteous idiot like yourself. If you had a brain I might be able to respect your views. You clearly don’t have one. You revel in making trouble and being a trouble maker. You seem to get a perverted pleasure from it. I don’t believe for one minute you are true supporter - you take too much pleasure in our defeats. I can’t take take this sh** anymore. I will ban myself.

Hugo, Give the bloke a chance. he played bloody well. yesterday as did the entire defence against a toughy Wimbledon side who are very awkward to play against. he was never going to out jump- the player who was probably four or 5 inches taller and running in on a perfect cross. You need a colossus like Flint to stand any chance with those. Broadbent strong as he has been has not been good at defending crosses ala Gillingham and Bradford away to name two games. If you restrict a home team to 2 chances in 90 minutes you are doing well and your midfield and forwards need to do there job to win points. Our passing and decision making in the final third cost us the game.

People speak of shock after earthquake shakes Bristol as pictures show damage to building
Shock turned to amusement when it was realised that the tremor was just the wheels falling off Bristol city FC's promotion bus

If he or she has to get that personal over someone having an opinion it's a poor show

You clearly take pleasure from this. I find that truly sickening. You are not a true Gashead, however much you think you are. Your wish to cause trouble undermines that completely.
Stop pretending, it is truly pitiful.

If we accept every team will score from a simple cross into the box we're in for a poor end to the season. If Locks had conceded that goal he'd be getting slaughtered on here this weekend. If nothing else Craig could have fouled him and conceded a penalty.

I can't believe a team as poor as Wimbledon have managed to beat us home and away this season. Significant strengthening in the summer is needed.

If he played 57 games at left-back for promotion winning millwall last season i honestly dont see why he cant play that position for rovers. I agree he should have done better on the goal,he spoilt what until then had been a good performance[listening on radio]. I think craig will start next saturday. I get your point about 4-4-2 /4-3-3 but in the 4-3-3 formation dc has used the full backs havnt got forward as much as in the previous 2 seasons.

In an interview with the "mail online" he said he was a left-back who sometimes helps neil harris out by playing centre-half. He played left-back in the play-off final last season. Presume you must know how many of his 57 games were left-back compared to centre-back?

There is one game missing, but according to transfermarkt he played 31 times at left back and 25 times at centre back. In fairness that is the most games he has played at LB in one season in his whole career. The majority of his games since the early 2000's have been as a CB.

I was just saying my first impressions are that he doesn't look any better than Lockyer, Sweeney or Broadbent. I was underwhelmed with our January signings and am not yet convinced by any of them. I'm told I'm wrong and that all three players are very good. I hope that's the case but I can only comment on what I've seen so far.
