FT 1-1
Not a bad result to be fair.
Bit quiet on here?

1-1 probably a fair result. Considering our makeshift team with Lockyer centre mid I expected more from Charlton.

Fair Result. Some good performances, shame to see Sercombe go off early as he had looked in good form.
Charlton seemed a stronger team then us with some good ballplaying players as well. However we didnt let then dominate and defensively we were solid. The goal on half time was disappointing as Lockyer, Clarke and Broadbent all backed off to allow a fairly soft shot.
Still need a centreforward who can head the ball and hold the ball for Ellis to play alongside.
We were better at Charlton on the first day of the season and should have taken at least a point Plymouth the same, but they both look nicely placed. Next season we have nothing to fear, cut out our mistakes, stay strong defensively and a striker alongside Ellis will add 10 to 15 points and a solid play off place

Sounds like we acquitted ourselves well!
Who were we without? Leads, Parts, Lines, Sercs (for all bar 20 mins), Sincs, Nichols, Bola. Several of our players were patched up and sent out into battle. We had nothing really to play for against a team really needing a win and with a bit of luck we would have won. Kelly sounds a hell of a prospect from what I heard on the radio. How did Mensah play?

Looking at the table you would be a bit sick to be a shrewsbury fan, 81points from 40 games and most likely will end up in the play-offs! They could end the season with 90 plus points. Beat us comfortably home and away.

Hoping for a spirited Gas performance - think it'll be 1 -1 if Sercs and Leads are playing. Well done Gas - battled well for a point. Such a shame Sercs went off when he did as he and Ollie were looking dominant in the middle at the start.

FT 1-1 Not a bad result to be fair. Bit quiet on here? Very good result just goes to show that our strength in depth is decent considering charltons form and our injuries.

A good game, two teams going for it and a fair result in the end.

Would like to see some more of that left back young kiddy that came on, some good play on the ball, confident, attacking, put a few dangerous balls in the box, and then we decided to play down the right for the rest of the game... Typical lol

Really enjoyable game, pity we didn’t bag all 3 although for Iast 20 mins felt like it could go either way. Very encouraging performance considering injuries. Gaffers not at the races but otherwise thought everyone did well, all be it we faded towards end. Their goal was soft and I think took a deflection from brown else Sam would have had it and he did an amazing couple of saves to keep us in it. Onwards

Another awful performance from Gaffney unfortunately. Thankful for his services but time to move him on in Summer.

Considering the players missing I thought we were excellent today well worth a point against one of the divisions form sides. Their keeper wasting time near the end showed they were pleased with a point. Don't think anyone deserves any criticism today they all put in a shift. Thought Bennett was a constant threat Moore had a decent game & Mensah also looked one for future. Kelly looked a good prospect in the time he was on confident in possession well worth persevering with imo. Negatives looking like more injuries think the 3 that went off were all forced off with knocks, not sure bar Lines if any will be back next week definitely down to bare bones.

Think they all put a shift in today but want a shout out for Byron Moore and Tony Craig, both i thought had excellent games PS i think Brown was injured in the last couple of minutes so possibly another injured player

Another awful performance from Gaffney unfortunately. Thankful for his services but time to move him on in Summer. Begrudgingly I agree with you. I used to love Gaffney, he'd run & run for 90 mins, and score a few goals. But now his goals have dried up completely, and when he runs to chase the ball down, he just doesn't seem the player he once was. Let him go in the summer, and see who DC brings in.

Broadbean who is ahead of Sweeney it seems will be massive next season and with Michael Kelly,Luke Russe and Mayonaisse looking good ,we do need to replace Gaffers and Nichols as they lack any serious goal threat.Hope Dom Telford gets another try soon but from DC's aftermatch interview to-day,it seems he will be minimising his loans inwards. That's good as he's obviously planning on stopping!!!

A hard fought battling display and pleased with a point overall. Thought Reeves was excellent for them, just the sort of player we need in our midfield.

A 1-1 draw was a good and fair result. We did well with so many players out. Slocombe made 2 or 3 great saves. Bennett looked an absolute menace again and is proving to be a bargain. Broadband showed why he should be in the teamorning more regularly.
I'm liking our development team. It is still in the early stages but already seems to be proving a success. I think it will pay dividends in the long run and we seem to be looking at things with long term thinking applied, which can only make us more sustainable in the future.
