I genuinely think he should be played ahead of Rooney. Rooney has never done it at a tournament. Time for a change. So his one man show at in Portugal was scotch mist ? Rooney is a class player but he is often asked to play in positions that don't brain the best out of him. He has tremendous skill and an eye for goal. He can run at defenders and tear them apart. I see him and Owen as players who were so badly mismanaged. Both were amazing players but over playing and subsequent injury put pay to that. If we are to get any chance of doing well in tourny football then we need to adapt to allow the group to play and be together for a couple of months before them IMO |

Agreed he's a class act but not often enough for England. |
