Looks to me like they're building loads more student flats and then building a hotel and fast food outlets to help pay for it.
Unless they're planning on giving them to Wael I'm not sure how this would help?

Hmmm, probably just planning new facilities for the University like most around the country. No indication whatsoever that a stadium will be included with the plans after just a brief glance. I think itβs time to move on.

Itβs bout new signs, not a sign of any stadium development.

It's about signs at a grid reference that's already within the campus by a company that's got nothing to do with the stadium. Link to previous application for student NOT stadium facilities. Sorry but I wish people would actually read application details before posting. At least it's not kitchen fitters clickbait

I spend my spare time visiting porn websites, not councils planning websites looking for planning permissions....
Each to their own though...

"We have been instructed to submit an application to discharge condition 20 of permission PT12/3809 for the UWE masterplan. This condition relates to the signage scheme and is submitted alongside the advertisement consent for the erection of 39 wayfinding and direction signs to be erected in a numberof locations throughout Frenchay Campus. The proposal is part of a wider cross campus scheme to improve the current signage and wayfinding strategy.
How's erecting 39 signs going to relate to the stadium plans? I sense the OP's clutching at straws with this one, particularly when the original planning consent referred to for the signs dates back to 2012! Interesting that refers to a 200 bed hotel as that's never been built.

Application validated Friday 17 Nov 2017 Discharge of conditions 5 (Fence), 11 (Drainage and Water Quality), 13 (Foul Drainage) and 30 (Ecological and Landscape Master Plan) attached to planning permission PT12/0888/F. Erection of a 21,700 seater new sports stadium (Class D2) and ancillary Club Shop (500m2), Supporters Club Bar (784m2) and Offices (198m2), with associated Convenience Store (Class A1) (465m2), Gymnasium (Class D2) (1,280m2), Banqueting facilities (Class D1) (1,006m2), Media Study Centre/UWE Teaching Space (Class D1) (2.114m2). Construction of car park (1,000 spaces) and new vehicular access. Depositing of excavated material resulting from construction process, landscaping and lighting. There's a couple of things there which sound quite interesting to me.... developments.southglos.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=summary&keyVal=OZGK7POKLLB00

Yeah, I guess it was around there. What does discharge of conditions mean though. Would seem strange to have a process to do eventually do nothing, but it wouldn't surprise me....

I don't think we will be building a stadium at UWE or anywhere else if the club don't own the land. So unless the our owners have been offered the land to buy from UWE then stadium isn't going to happen. Why would you invest 30-40 million on a development that ultimately you don't fully own and could have problems selling on in the future ?.

Just spoke with a friend, and for some reason, he can find a map attached to the application, but I can't. Hope someone out there is more able than me. Suffice to say, it shows all the outlets around an inner red ring which still defines the stadium outline.
So my question is, if the stadium is not going to happen, why is it still shown on the map of the area?
Take it easy Topper, you could make a fool of yourself, like I'm supposed to have, but of course I would say that wouldn't I.π€π€π€

After all UWE said they still want to build 'it', whatever 'it' might end up being
No conspiracy or anything is it, just common sense not to build on land that has planning permission that they want
