So my question is, if the stadium is not going to happen, why is it still shown on the map of the area? Coz it's a reference to existing permission. They can't just change the permissions just coz they're not going to build everything on their original plans.

New arena at Filton...............may have a stadium attached 👀 just a rumour. I heard we're going to change our name to the Bristol Brabazons.

The UWE aren't going to build anything. They don't have the money.

I don't think we will be building a stadium at UWE or anywhere else if the club don't own the land. So unless the our owners have been offered the land to buy from UWE then stadium isn't going to happen. Why would you invest 30-40 million on a development that ultimately you don't fully own and could have problems selling on in the future ?. A very sensible and considered opinion. So the answer is..............🙏🏼

Just spoke with a friend, and for some reason, he can find a map attached to the application, but I can't. Hope someone out there is more able than me. Suffice to say, it shows all the outlets around an inner red ring which still defines the stadium outline. So my question is, if the stadium is not going to happen, why is it still shown on the map of the area? Take it easy Topper, you could make a fool of yourself, like I'm supposed to have, but of course I would say that wouldn't I.🤐🤐🤐 Possibly just so it leaves the option open for now or someway in the future. After all UWE said they still want to build 'it', whatever 'it' might end up being
No conspiracy or anything is it, just common sense not to build on land that has planning permission that they want
Or because someone else .................. shushhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

UWE have plenty of money as most universities do now these days, they've just opened a £55 million Faculty of Business and Law on campus in addition to the many other development projects going on. It's just they don't want to build a £40-£50m football stadium nor do they want to hand over the freehold of valuable land for a football club which is quite understandable really. I can't believe some are still going on about this as planning expired months ago.

UWE have money but they won't be building a stadium with it. Their next project is a new engineering department (not on the stadium site). The stadium site is shown on the map because that is the application the condition for new signs is attached too. The document clearly shows the positions of new directional sites around the campus. UWE have probably done it this way as it is easier than entering a separate new application for the signs.

It's interesting that the UWE had pp for an hotel next door to the stadium all along. UWE site plan 2012

They played The Twist so we all did the twist. They played the Birdy song so we all did the Birdy dance. Well, you can guess the rest.
